YosemiteSam
Yosemite National Park
Great interview with Sam. Good to see her happy and laughing.
Well well well
So it appears they were more like "friends" for a couple of nights in South Africa (according to Sam) right after the proposal (when the cameras switched off), and he broke up with Sam face to face in Perth 5 weeks later, stating it wasn't right. Says he is heart broken, lol.
Carrie quizzed him if there is someone else, Blake just said "Its not the time, still getting over this heartbreak" also said is getting over the heartbreak of letting so many others go on the show
Sam said Blake didn't even try to give it a go, felt him being stressed out a little after the proposal, so kept the distance and were more like friends. Feels numb about him now when asked if she still loves him. Sam was only wanting one engagement ever, and was upset that Blake took that away from her without even trying to give it a go. Said she cried a long time when he broke it off
I wonder now if he's actually gay and being on "the bachelor" was a way to get mega clingy mummy off his back for a while.
I am serious. In hindsight, the "thanks, nice for you to say' replies when women spilled their guts is a thing. Last years bachelor was more forthcoming with his replies. Blake though was non committal and just robotic, like he was going through the motions, but actually feeling nothing as in partnership to any of the women.oh gosh Kismet, this could be another genuine rumour that does the round for a week or two , lol
You should be able to see it on ten play. Just google it. I would provide the link but am currently on an iPad and can't work out how to do shit on it..lol. Can post the link tomorrow if it helps. Was this on towards the end of the project? I kinda wanna see Neighbours and I want to see the interview itself, so I assume it's on around 7:30ish on the project yea?

Nah tis good I just watched it, thanks tho guys!
It was p interesting though I dunno it was lacking in something. It just kept me wanting more even though there literally is nothing else more to know about their relationship (I think...?)
I am a bit more mellow towards Blake and can at least now understand his point of view better (as long as he is still genuinely single) as devastating as it is for Sam. If it is all genuine and he really is upset and has his heart broken , then I do feel for the guy and the hatred towards him has been unfair and unjust.
But what bugs me in a way. He keeps saying he proposed "in the moment". But he got the ring made in Australia weeks before the finale. The jeweller asked him about a friendship ring or if he wanted something more than that. He didn't hesitate Blake wanted more (engagement ring). So he planed to propose for a while, without any push or desire from the shows producers. But then again he was in this bubble and not doing normal every day things he would normally do. I guess this is the major flaw of the show, post show.
Sam hanging out with Tully has me worried a bit. Sam is in a totally different league to her. But am wrapt Zoe, Lisa, Chantelle are keeping her company, all quality ladies.
TY!Haven't had a chance to listen yet but I saw this on Fitzy and wippas Twitter and thought I'd post it here if people are still interested. Anyway Blake and Sam booth spoke to them this morning. You can hear it here:

I can understand your point of view, but the guy had me creeped-out from the get go and I never saw anything genuine about him, nor his responses, whether directly to any of the women or when doing the between scenes spiels. In fact the only time I saw what could be considered a genuine emotional reaction, is when he got rid of Lisa.
Fair enough (though he also cried a little when he let Jess go)
I'll be honest and thought he came across as a gentleman and genuine, which was a big reason why I kept watching (Im not gay btw, lol). The 4 parents of the last 4 girls and their siblings all adored him, there really wasn't one doubt or issue from them at all. He seemed like a decent bloke (fitzy and wippa even acknowledge this), just his downfall was majorly screwing up on something he thought he was doing the right thing. Now he is being punished and dissected mercifully from what happened on the show and afterwards. Maybe there is more to the story, more to Blake?
No real winners here, well except for ch10 and the recent media gossip it has generated
come on kismet, Jess's old man said a good firm handshake is the hallmark of a great bloke, that's good enough for me
