In series 3 the blue team Lost the challenge thus they selected Sean to be eliminated. I never watched series 5 but I know he was eliminated in some way other then voting. Then in series 6 the Westrens won the challenge so they got to choose one contestant from th Moons to be eliminated, they chose Jodie. Then just last year I think Kerry chose to eliminate Matt. Also lets not forget every year they do the super challenge where someone gets eliminated;

Series 2: Damien
Series 3: Michelle
Series 4: Megahan
Series 6: Sharlene
Series 7: Graham
Series 9: Big Kev and Caitlin

So almost every year they have eliminated contestants mid series. And the eliminated contetsnts are coming back for makeovers next week.

I've watched every series and barely remember some of these people lol.
I guess you're right it's something that always happens but it's still very annoying!
I do remember some, including Bob, weren't really eliminated but I'd definitely forgotten most of the others.

Edit: I'm excited that the eliminated contestants are also getting makeovers this year. Plus I want to see Pablo and Danny without the beards!

I knew they were using Mel last week. Pretending to be her friend.
Mel looks fabulous.. Work experience kid must have been doing the editing because the boys were talking about ther make overs and beards being cut off etc and yet still had their beards..

It doesn't matter that Mel left tonight though because looking at the synopsis for next Tuesday's episode, all of the eliminated contestants will get a chance to come back into the game. It makes sense, I thought it was a bit weird that they would just invite the eliminated contestants to show off their makeovers.

I hate Johnee. And his wife.

Mel has come such a long way, she has a light in her eyes now and her laugh makes me smile.

Poor Mel. The Jofres were always going to use her then dump her, but why couldn't they have had Pablo voting to save her, and one of the others she isn't close to like Tony vote her out instead? I think they're all pretty much under Rob's thumb.

Tenneale was vile tonight. "Who cares about Mel" indeed. Who cares about YOU?
 
I did not recognise Cameron at all! Adro and Allison looked fabulous too.
Looks like they all have had some work done, but good on them. They changed their life around and kept the weight off. Not many do.

Except he's kind of at that stage where his arms don't sit close to his sides so he walks funny. Plus it looked bulky around his gut.
I totally disagreed with some of the things he said too - it worked for him but I don't think telling people they should stop going to family functions in order not to overeat is just plain stupid in my opinion.
