TBL Families

It's more my suspicions that one or more of them deliberately bulked up over the period of a few months or more to get their family on the show, without really losing condition.
Nobody who has been long term obese leading the sedentary life that they make out they all live would be able to do hours and hours of training right off the bat.
A valid suspicion and one I tend to agree with. It seems to be more a walk in the park for them as opposed to some others.

It's not that I don't like them. Well, Tony's face annoys me lol. But apart from that they seem like good guys. It's a bit boring with the whole foregone conclusion of it all but I don't think they're evil or anything.

That said, I like how they train and don't complain which is seriously what you'd be hoping to do if you had that opportunity.
I hadn't thought about that this season but had considered it for previous seasons.
One underrated factor is how much these boys would be competing against each other, family male dynamics are huge.

That's true. Nobody would be wanting to seem the weak link.

The thing that frustrates me about the show is that we are given no indication of what the contestants do between weigh-ins and challenges. Someone let slip the other day that they worked out 13 hours a day. That is just ridiculous, even for a professional athlete. We don't know what they eat, or how much water they consume. In the season Margie won she was accused of water-loading. How much water would she actually have been drinking? I force myself to drink six bottles/glasses a day, and that keeps me peeing regularly. To hold it in would be excruciating, if not impossible.

(Sorry for going O/T, it's not necessarily related to the current show)

You don't necessarily have to not pee. But a few glasses before a weigh in could make a difference if they knew they were safe that week.

Remember the water loading in season 1.

At one stage in the game, Kristie, having earned immunity, used water loading to gain 5.9 kg which meant she had a large loss of 8 kg the following week. The water loading technique was then officially banned with a new rule stating that gaining weight would result in being at risk of elimination even if immunity had been won. This had happened before when Shane and Fiona used the technique to lose big numbers the following week, having won immunity in a card playing "temptation".

The current host was a cheat.

I have done a 180 on Jodie and Mel and Johnee - arrogant twit now.
I reckon Jodie and Mel would be hilarious on Googlebox. I hope they keep up the great attitude. Getting rid of Ali was the best thing for them and I hope their relationship stays as good when they get home.

I remeber Big Wal water loaded and it backfired on him. The fireman was pissing in the wind.

Oh my goodness, they'd be brilliant on googlebox and they WERE best served with Ali going. Yes, yes, yes, re the 180, me too and yes re Johnee.

Just started watching it tonight, have rewound and watched again them all crying and carrying on about how they all fell off hen Jodie jumped. Lol!!!! Of course Tony wouldn't give credit to Cliff hanging on. And Johnee crying like a big baby. SUCK IT!! Jodie is hilarious!

Never mind that the odds of Cliff staying on were higher as he was furthest away. I had to leave for work before it finished. Who was voted out?

I don't think it matters who the Jofres get rid of. They have this season in the bag.

I know, it matters to me though. I want to see Jodie & Mel stick around until they finally get the message, and I want Johnee out because he's an irritant.

Hopefully Johnee. It would make sense for the Jofres to turn on their so-called alliance.

I can't see them getting rid of Johnee, specially when Moses all of a sudden had that (convenient) whatever attack that got him sent off in the ambulance just when it was time to vote out lol. (I know, I'm a bitch).

I completely agree with you on both counts but they seemingly have a stanglehold on the game. Whoever the red person was last week would've been my choice to vote out as a threat, alliance or not.[DOUBLEPOST=1446443151][/DOUBLEPOST]

Unfortunately, yes. What you said, not the being a bitch bit :)
