Talk to Timdormer (yes it's really me)

Ok serious question:

I cant fully recall but in an interview Alex said 3 housemates are chosen as the main important housemates which allows them to cast the rest of housemates based upon the type of people those 3 people would get along with and not get along with. (In 2012 it was like Ben Bradley and someone else i think) - Who would you say for your cast where the 3 main housemates?

- I think it was you, Ben and Tahan.

And yes I loved Paul!! It was great to be interviewed by him on radio and I was able to tell him directly I was a fan of his work! But no my game play was entirely my own. In actual fact who I was in the house (who is the real me) wasn't the person I was going to try to be in there! All my friends and family were like "tim if you go in there as yourself everyone will hate you, there's no way you'll ever win, think about your chances of getting the media gig you want...blah blah blah). Even in lockdown I was planning to 'turn tim down' and go under the radar in the house, just be the funny loveable guy... I fucked it all up launch night when I just got so excited I wee'd my pants (true story I had to pee at the back of the auditorium as they were just about to introduce me onstage). The excitement was the biggest high I've ever felt in my life. I was on drugs! And before I had realised Australia had been smacked in the face with the genuine version of me I was planning to hide, or at least introduce slowly. I remember going into the diary room week 2 and saying to big brother "whoops, I've made an awful mess of things haven't I. Everyone was right, they don't like me. The only way to fix this is to win".

Oh ok that's very interesting!

What was your interview with Alex M like in the 3rd round of the 1st audition day? Did you leave that interview fairly confident that Alex was a big fan?

Great question! I agree with your guesses of Tim, Ben, and Tahan for 2013. In 2012 it was Ben, Bradley and Michael.

Hahahahaa I think I'm missing the context to this question! I don't know about any mysterious bleeding but one of my fav memories of mikka was when shed had a few too many red cordials one Friday night and proceeded to scream out how much she loved a certain sexual position. It was bizarrely honest and that's why I loved her!

Tahan was my girl in that house! Like I said before, if either of you had not won this, I would have been pretty disappointed, because the 2013 series would not have lived up to be one of the best ever! You have said how she is a strong woman- can you please tell me why you say this?

actually some people on these forums believe tahan lurks here because she is a fan of reality shows like survivor too and watches the USBB- does she lurk here?

I'd be curious to know if @Timdormer knows how many of the 2013 housemates actually have forum accounts here.

Yep I was talking to Tully about it the other night actually, she probably would love to and yes she has some really insightful opinions...But, she cops a lot of unnecessary criticism from people (myself included!) whenever she does anything. And I think Tully still isn't quite ready to chat about the memories without getting upset...in a good way! We were both having a little sob together the other night getting nostalgic! She's on another bloggers trip overseas this week, but if you ask nicely I'm sure she might consider it!
