Space... the final frontier...

I've probably said this in an earlier post, but the TV show For All Mankind on Apple+ is excellent. It's an alt history if the Russians beat the US to the moon and the space race continued into the 90s.
…that sounds awesome my friend… I’ll have to see if I can track it down… wow… what a concept… cheers.

…’For All Mankind’ is only available on Apple TV unfortunately… I have Netflix/Prime and Stan… has it been on free TV?… if so… would anyone know which channel it was on by any chance?… sometimes you can look up their archives… sounds like a really good show to me… cheers.

It's an Appl TV+ original series, so just there. I'm subscribed. I think Apple users get it for free or something, no idea, don't use their products. Their TV shows are however are quite good.

Of course, would never recommend or even suggest if there was any other way to get it on the high seas.

Artemis I may be launching tonight. Launch window opens around 10:30pm AEST.. I think

…I can’t wait for them to set foot on the Moon again… all the crackpots saying it was fake again… all the conspiracy theories that are going to be coming out… all the flat Earth believers saying it’s not true because it’s impossible… imagine what a frenzy they’ll be in when we get to Mars!… as I said… I can’t wait… cheers. 🙄🥱😵‍💫🥴😳☹️😜🤪

Saw this and thought you may be interested @Mr Stickyfingers, it's pretty cool:

…aw shit timmy I’ve just noticed this article that you posted way back in April this year!… thanks for posting this my friend… it’s awesome!… and so fascinating… Oddjob posted the same article back one page too but it compelled me to rewatch it so no loss… thanks for posting it anyway my friend… much appreciated… cheers.

Incredible!

Engineers at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Southern California have revived a set of thrusters aboard the Voyager 1 spacecraft that had been considered inoperable since 2004.

…aw man that is so awesome timmy!… thanks for posting it my friend… to think that “The Voyagers launched in 1977 and are hurtling through interstellar space at around 35,000 mph (56,000 kph)’’ and “Voyager 1 and 2 are located about 15 billion miles (25 billion kilometers) and 13 billion miles (21 billion kilometers) from Earth, respectively”… is a testament to NASA’S technology way back then isn’t it?…

…I love it that… “Deep Space Station 43 (DSS-43), a 230-foot-wide (70-meter-wide) antenna in Canberra, Australia, that’s part of NASA’s Deep Space Network“… has a role in it too… onya Aussie… oi oi oi!… I remember when they were launched in 1977… I was 24 years old… I knew the missions were going into interstellar Space and the child inside me at 24 was thinking that it was going to be the closest thing that we will ever be to Captain Kirk and Spock and the Starship Enterprise that we will ever be in our lifetimes lol!… this is truly wonderful news timmy… thanks mate…

…and… thanks for reviving this thread timmy… I stopped posting stuff on it because it was hardly being looked at by people… the last activity was in September 2023… but now you have inspired me to start posting stuff in it again… you’ve rekindled me to give a shit about the thread again… for that I thank you… what a great article!… keep going Voyagers!… cheers.

thanks for reviving this thread timmy

Honestly I saw the article and wanted to share it somewhere and thought of you. The Voyagers will get "Exceeding Expectations" in their next performance review for sure. Definitely on track for a bonus.

Oh, and I don't let a lack of interest stop me. I'm forever posting in the Things that Make you Laugh thread and it's a tough crowd in there let me tell you.
