oh my god

i loved you, i loved you because i GOT YOU. i'm an oddball too and no one ever gets me, but i got you and i think you'd get me.

you would have won if BB had not shown the audience the voting tally with the faces a couple nights before the finale. WHERE IS JUSTICE? but even though you didn't get the prize fund you will always be the true winner in my eyes, as well as the best HM in any BB worldwide ever.

NEVER CHANGE FOR ANYONE! *hug*

PS: you have the prettiest name ever!

Really? This is a forum - people can say what they like. It's not as if she was tagging Estelle and calling her a slut. She said her feelings, and she moved on. You've come to the wrong place if you are expecting people to use manners

That`s why online chat has a lot to answer for. So easy to sit behind a computer of mobile phone and post whatever. No right place nowadays. There is a difference between posting how you don`t like someone and running down the reasons why as to saying you don`t like things that person has done. None of us know either of them, might not like some things they said and did but it does not excuse attacking anyone personally. Would any of you have the guts or be cold enough to say the things said here, to their faces? For me this isn`t a Ben vs Estelle. It`s about trying to put a stop to hurt already said and done and hoping both can find closure and move forward for their sakes. Been enough hurt. Only winners are Big Brother Heads, raking in the money at the cost of so many young fans. Even some of those who win Big Brother (money) aren`t happy, it comes at a cost. Whether you like or dislike what somebody does, they have feelings, just like you. Don`t make it so personal and nasty. Oh and saying something, then saying sorry but that`s how I feel is like going up and slapping someone with a dead fish. I doubt many of you are even old enough to understand.

@Jacqueline - many posters here are over 40 - perhaps lurk a little before you sit in judgement of us. It must get tiring being right all the time and holier than thou.

Simple fact is when someone puts themselves on a reality tv show where people use real money to vote to save they not only invest money but their emotion and time. The show is a social experiment designed to highlight personalities and characteristics that we find engaging, entertaining or off-putting. As viewers we have various avenues to express ourselves to discuss thoughts, views, frustrations, insight etc. Some talk to family, some to their friends IRL, some use social media, some a public forum. The entire concept of the forum is to allow us to share our opinions. You've done it, I've done it. It's hypocritical to say one fan base can't do it but another one can.

You'll find i'm one of the most polite and tactful posters around here, even if I do say so myself :) Sometimes though, you can't sugar coat it. If I found someone to be draining, surely I can share that with them, given they have chosen to know enter a public forum. They may not be anonymous like I am, but I am just as real as they are and I can feel just as upset my attacks on me on here by people like you and others who have attacked me simply because I said Estelle was my least fave HM. I said sorry because I am not a nasty person. To use your own metaphor (and yes I, along with many others are old enough to be aware of this) of the dead fish is quite an insulting thing to say - but hey I am used to it from having copped a lot worse from die-hard Estelle fans. Luckily the majority of Estelle fans are very reasonable and nice posters. Enjoy your day. Perhaps have a Bex and a lie down honey...and yes I'm being condescending as you have been to just about everyone. Pot, Kettle, Black!!! Now leave me alone so I don't have to come back in this thread.

I go by what I read, if some of you are of an age to know better, know better. If I`m such a die hard fan I would not have also mentioned to some, not nice saying what they have about Ben. Disgusting reading on both sides, oh and as for the dead fish comment, I didn`t make it personal. I said it`s like slapping someone in the face with a dead fish. Huge difference. Do have a nice day, won`t lower myself to your standards, oh so nice person.

This is the cutest thing out

Had a quick scan of the last five or so pages. Just as horrible as the Ben2012 thread, in its own way, but a whole lot less shrieky. Shrieky accusations hurled and shrieky assertions and shrieky character assassinations, and all the quasi-harmony of this new season on the forum gone. It makes me sad. I note Ben is not in here shrieking accusations. And, unless I missed the "good bit" (life, too short; stomach, too weak; heart, too tired) early on, no-one has said anything particularly awful about Estelle, personally, unlike the Ben thread...

Apparently, mentioning the hobby horse riding and the meowing and the lavender up the nose is a heinous and classless act! Apperently, murmuring the observation that she played the victim (possibly quite unconsciously) is a heinous and classless act! It is not, however, at all out of line to accuse Ben of being a clinical narcissist. Estelle fans are the weirdest. So much projection.

But Estelle, posting on the Ben thread, is exactly as I saw her, (with worse grammar and syntax than I could have envisaged), and I am glad people are being gentle with her - I wish they would extend that kindness to Ben, who is also just a struggling human like the rest of us, regardless of past opinions individual posters might have had or have.

But to be fair, it is not that black and white. I don't think this type of thinking is a reflection of all Estelle fans or of all Ben fans for that matter. I have read Estelle fans extend the hand of kindness towards Ben, and I have read Ben fans extend the hand of kindness to Estelle. To me it is just a handful of extremists that cause forum wars when it comes to housemates, not the majority.

Why did you find Estelle draining?

Why did you find Estelle draining?

They didn't, they heard one of the housemates they wished they were friends with say that. As someone who spent a lot of time arguing with the anti-estelle, pro psychopath bullying crowd. Most of the arguments against her were all just spitting out shit the 'cool group' would say. You knew this because a lot of it was stuff that simply doesn't translate through the TV. That season especially a lot of people I believe wished they were in the house with the people and so took the view of those people.

Then I think a lot of the anti-estelle stuff ramped up because it made their favorite housemates look bad and still does. They were blaming Estelle because the way Ben and Co treated and talked about her was undeniably bad. Instead of condemning the behavior, they were already emotionally invested, they then blamed Estelle because if she wasn't there, they wouldn't be treating someone badly and look bad.

Anyone with a half a brain can figure out and acknowledge that revealing the fact that Ben was trailing by several percentage points just a few days out from the finale was going to cause an avalanche of votes in his favour.

That transparent anti-Estelle decision would go down as one of the lowest points of the BB production crew, a decision blatantly made to manipulate the finale vote to fall the way they wanted it too.

It was absolutely disgusting and pathetic and had the roles being reversed the fans of that vile piece of human excrement would be screaming bloody murder also.
While I thought BB/Alex's decision to reveal the votes was vile, I don't think it was in order to push Ben over the line. I don't really think they cared who won. Their motivation was purely greed. I believe they simply wanted the public to pour even more money into voting. They could only do this because the voting was so close. If someone had been clearly in the lead, they probably would have thought twice about doing it.
