Skye Appreciation Thread

Skye needs to take her confidence down just a notch or two, it isn't helping her win over the public. I mean its great she wants to win and all but no need to keep saying it all the time.

I think she does that to make it happen. If you believe in the law of the Universe, that's what you do to make it happen. I don't think she does that to be up herself. Of course if you are not thinking along those lines it will look as being arrogant and the public won't like it.
I believe in the law of Universe, so I don't see what she does as arrogant. I wouldn't do that for the public though, she doesn't understand that it can go against her. I feel she has done some courses of self esteem but not quite understood them. She is only 20 and will still have a lot to learn. IMO

shes thinking positive and keeping her spirits up on eviction day by pushing negativity from her mind and focusing on the best outcome: not going home.

skye loves mum, and isnt afraid to show it.
she loves her sister too! she showed us a really sweet part of herself, and didnt make a scene with over the top hysterics or any bellyaching over bbs slo-mo interference.

shes not cocky, shes confident.
its not 'maybe'. its not 'i might'. its 'i will' win big brother 2014, and nobody in this house can stop her. she knows it, and shes 'putting it out there' to make it real. this is confidence. this is the eye of the tiger, and the heart of the lion. this is what a winner looks like, and its a shame that so many people find this an unattractive attitude for a young woman.
i really really hope that girls can take a big lesson in self-confidence from skye.

skye can do this, i am sure! its unfortunate for the haters that they just dont 'get it'. and thats the thing about skye; she is very polarising. some people just dont get it, and disparage her for not being more reserved, humble, dependant, or seeking of approval.
but there are a lot (and i mean a lot!) of us that do get it!

not much longer, skye! just a couple more weeks and you will have that house all to yourself!

It's probably just seeking the easy target because that target has put themselves so far out in ridiculous ways that they now stand out like dogs balls. It's got nothing to do with picking on your sweet little Skye. Act like a spoilt arrogant brat expect she would cop it.

Dude this is the Skye Appreciation thread. If you want to bitch about any housemate you should respect other posters enough to not do it on their appreciation thread. Now make like a leaf and fuck off, or something. :p

It's a misconception that only teenage kids like and vote for Skye. I'm in my late 40s and a single-father to a young daughter. I like Skye not because she's perfect (she's not) or because she's pretty (she is) but because she has some great qualities as a person. I'm not crazy about her wild lipstick but hey, I'm old enough to be her dad, right? If my daughter grows up to have Skye's confidence, optimism and can-do attitude, I think I'd be quite happy with my job as a parent.

If your daughter grows up to to have skye's so called "confidence" "optimism" and "can do attitude" she is going to have a lot of issues in her life. But hey who am I to judge.
 
Skye is an airhead. But there is a sizable portion of voters who are airheads & like airheads. And bogans.

Who was that girl on a previous BB that all the HMs hated but was the public liked, she was up for eviction weeks on end? Sometimes the public has no taste.
