Skye Appreciation Thread

i have a handful of housemates that i support, but they have all let me down in one way or another over the past month.
except skye.

cheerful and upbeat, she tries to be friend to all. shes no pushover though. you might get her to cry with hurtful words, but she isnt afraid to put you in your place if it strikes her fancy, no matter how popular you are in the house.
i like her daggy dancing, and i even have a soft spot for her overtan and bright lippies. she is warmth, joy, and genuine in a way that no other housemate can compare.

What @marsha brady said- Skye is warmth, joy, and genuine in a way the other hms cannot be, because she is compassionate and sincere. This one is a wild flower and I like that she can't be tamed. This girl is slowly becoming everything I loved in Tahan (Minus a lot of other things haha), but her feistiness and bite mixed with her indifference of who is cool and not cool is making me love her just the same each day
 
Skye is wow.

She might have trouble expressing her feelings sometimes, I find that endearing though but she is very caring and smarter than people give her credit for.

I have to say I got a little upset when Skye started crying when David told her she was the only one who talked to him tonight. :bawling:

David is going through a rough time. I can only imagine all the feelings he is having right now and how intense they would be magnified in that house.
 
Yep... Our Skye is certainly getting a nice cushy edit lately... She was front and centre for much of that episode last night and she got the most eye-catching, gorgeous outfit. Loving her more when she is have genuine chats with the others without that silly voice ...
 
I love, love how Skye talks about the double standard with Jake. As I said earlier, I think she's smarter than she lets on. And she has a huge point! Why don't people realize that Jake is the actual scumbag in this situation!? I don't blame Lisa at all for how she reacted to it, nor Skye. Although, I wish Skye would back away from Jake.
 
Think maybe Skye & Dave are the only real HMs, and thus they are getting the shit thrown at them.

Even Priya is disappointing.

They are all full of shit. And these 2, just by existing poke holes in the bullshit.

I want these 2 to make an alliance, bring in Jason he is another outsider, and maybe new guy and Priya.
 
^ holy shit, if those text messages are legit i feel sorry for that bloke, even though he looks like a thug and im sure he will have no trouble finding another girl my perception of Skye has changed a lot now.

We need to wait for her side of the story, we don't know how serious they were. Friends of Skye have posted here saying they weren't together for long and they both agreed that things would end going into the house.

True, he could have easily changed her name to 'wifey' to make it sound like it was serious. He doesn't look like the type of dude who would get so emotionally attached. And he perhaps deleted messages where she said it was over. Who knows though

I said the same thing about Ed last year but that didn't hurt his fatal attraction 'victim' from being popular though. On the contrary it probably increased her fan base. :biggrin:
 
I asked the wife if it was okay, if was a housemate that I would hot tub with Skye and she could do that little dance.

I'm not sure how to interpret the look I go. Okay, I think that's no! :P

Ha ha! Skye is good value. She's a harmless looker. Doesn't seem to have a mean side.
 
I love how every year the HMs I least like when they first go in are the ones I grow to love
And it's also the ones I would hate in real life but they bring the most entertainment
Skye is fast becoming my favorite HM :)
 
the only possible downside is that now the housemates are sure to realise what a 'threat' skye is to them.
which i suppose could work one of two ways:
  1. they nominate skye as often as possible and hope she cant maintain her votes
  2. they fear facing eviction against skye, and nominate others instead
im hopeful they take option #2!
 
Question for the Skye fans (apologies if it's been asked before) - are Skye fans the old Jadophiles? Am curious about percentages..
