Sam and Sandra

She's from South Africa, now living in Melbourne.

It's all still very Oscar Pistorious lol...

Sam has a very beautiful GF and I hope Sam doesn't cross the line, and I also hope BB doesn't misconstrue things and do some poorly edited storylines to suggest anything but the truth.

If he does cross the line I sure hope his GF will slay his balls and toss them into a bucket of acid once he's out.

That's a bit much don't ya think? :wideyed:

The prosthetic leg would suffice. ;)

Just shows how completely ridiculous she is. It would be wildly inappropriate for a taken dude to spend a 1 on 1 night with someone who has a crippling crush on him - unfair on both of them. She should have understood this as really really basic logic, but instead cried and felt sorry for herself. Pretty lame.

This crush will end her unless she grows up quickly.

Absolutely agree. Not only that, but I'm sure her chief complaint was that "they are just good friends and should be able to go to the suite overnight without it being wrong or awkward." And in the next breath, is professing her undying love for him to Lawson and Cat...then wonders why taking her to the suite has become wrong and awkward... :bored:

And speaking of confessing her feelings to Lawson...wonder what exactly his angle is there. Being in the same boat as Sam, one would think he would be talking her down off of the ledge...instead of encouraging her to jump. And it seemed to be Ryan spilling that truth tea to Sam...haven't seen Lawson filling him in. Hmm...

I find desperation a very unattractive quality, and the fact she is all over him like a fat kid on cake, despite the fact he is in a committed relationship, makes the situation all the more unattractive.

I would like to see him unclip his leg and hit her over her stupid head with it!!

Yeah Lawson gives some pretty shit advice. I mean really, he has almost single handedly given Sandra hope that Sam might cheat on his smoking hot girlfriend - whom he loves - on national TV.
Nice work Lawson.

The advice should be: 'Sandra, you are fucking crazy - he has a girlfriend. Stop embarrassing yourself.'

That's the thing with Lawson though...either he is giving shit advice by accident or on purpose. If by accident, it's because he doesn't want to hurt feelings or get in the middle.

If on purpose, it could be that he thinks letting that train wreck happen will distract any focus on he and Cat's crazy train that's coming down the tracks...if he is going to have fun with Cat, it won't look as bad as Sam and Sandra. Or...if he is going to play while he is away, he'd rather not be the only one...so he is encouraging it.

Or, it could be entirely strategical. He might see them both as his biggest competition and is sabotaging their games by encouraging it...while getting away with it because he has become close friends with them both.

You just don't know with Lawson. He is smart and capable of taking calculated risks. He is a magician and it's his job to be good at conning, distracting and leading people towards whatever direction he wants. But he also seems nice...so is that his trick?

Not saying that all, obviously every guy is different but I can't pretend to say that looks isn't an important factor for most guys in picking a partner.

If 2 girls are equally compatible personality-wise with a guy, he'll go with the better looking one 99/100 times.

Of course. But i think the point of the previous post is that "better looking" to one person may not be "better looking to the next".

You all saw the same footage right? The day after Sandra's bombshell, when Sam asked her to go into the power room for the prank on Travis. They did that whole awkward hug thing to acknowledge that they had cleared the air.

I think Sandra has been TOLD.

EDIT: Just watched the Katie scoopla interview and that is apparently what happened. So all good.

No offense to Sandra but Sam's girl is smokin' hot. Sammy is comfortably punching above his weight, and that's purely on looks alone not taking into account his prosthetic leg

I don't think she stands a chance even she had no qualms being a homewrecker and went all out trying to pry Sam off her. lol

Sam and his girlfriend are on the same level of attractiveness, actually. Not sure why people here are acting as if his girlfriend's some supermodel. She's pretty, but she's normal-pretty, and he's normal-good-looking.

As for the whole situation, it's quite sad. Sandra needs to collect her emotions and not act this way - it's embarrassing for everyone. I also don't think Sam actually sees her that way, either, and never has. I always saw them as cousins-like rather than flirty. Maybe Sandra isn't really used to having a guy interested in her and mistakes it for actual attraction? In any case, she's mentioned that she doesn't think he finds her attractive, and I actually would agree that he doesn't seem to. They just have similar personalities and mesh well. It's really too bad for her, but she knew he was taken from the start, so this only looks bad on her part. Sam hasn't really done anything out-of-line, imo. Having a girlfriend doesn't mean you can't be friends with other girls.

edit: actually, having seen that girl's instagram... she's posted pictures of another guy and they look rather intimate. I don't think she and Sam are actually together.

lol at when Sonia asked Katie about Sam and Sandra and she was just like, 'oh that's over, she's changed her mind' or whatever.

Nice little bit where reality confronts what BB wants to portray.

Yes I loved that! Channel 9 can't manipulate what the housemates say on live tv.

from Sandra's own mouth......she had a crush, she was questioning if he was attracted to her, what her chances are on the outside....how was it "portrayed" incorrectly. Even Katie said it is disrespectful to his gf but she's changed her mind, not "it didn't happen". Why throw yourself at someone if you can conveniently get over them in 24 hours. I actually thought her feelings were real and felt bad for her for that, but that doesn't mean her behavior was ok, but if it wasn't even anything real and she was trying to hook up with him then I think it makes her look worse today than she did yesterday. Still think she's probably a good chick overall but don't hit on taken men, simples.

Normally I would agree. However, Katie's advice and lack of knowledge on the subject makes me not put any stock in what she has to say on the matter. In fact, as she said that to Sonia, I though to myself, when she sees the footage, she'll think differently. Katie clearly did not know the extent of what Sandra felt and said, so... That nonsense about taking her to the sanctuary told me she didn't have a clue.

yeah from what we saw, Sandra was talking more to Lawson and Cat about her huge crush but sounds like Sandra has gotten the hint after Friday night, and Saturday in the power room, that Sam's not interested...so hopefully they can now move on as friends

Interesting you saw it as her getting the hint. Her reaction to him asking her to the "sanctuary" said to me she is not over it. I don't think she can get over anything that quickly. I also think she read a WHOLE LOT more into what Lawson said than what was actually said. As she spoke to Cat, she sure was clinging onto the idea that Sam thought she was attractive. She's a bit delusional. Anyway, I don't know that we've seen the last of this. More than Sandra getting the hint, I hope Sam did, and took what Ryan said on board. He has to be more aware that Sandra takes every little thing to heart, so he can't encourage it. I can't wait to see how the intruder brings change to the house.
