Found this on failblog:

Obviously he was just looking at the jewellry on display (a bit hard to see what is on the end of the larger chain thingo) and forgot that it was on something living rather than in a display case somewhere.

He realised it all too late, and in a panic, rather than sensibly asking the lass for a closer look or a description of the baubles, etc, he looked at the ceiling instead, thereby sealing in a verdict of "guilty of perving" where such a verdict could easily have been avoided.

Twit.

If it was me, I would have actually said "excuse me, but I find the jewellry you are wearing to be quite intriguing. Can you tell me more about it and perhaps give me a closer look at what is on the end of that interesting looking chain ?"

Interesting conversation could have ensued for the rest of the engagement, AND I woulda also got sanctioned eyefulls of the flesh on display behind the baubles. :D

lol, so the poor guy really was just doing a "WTF is THAT and WTF would you put it on the end of a chain and wear it to lunch" when he suddenly realised that the wearee was looking at him looking and that there was bare skin above it and from certain points of view it could possibly be mis-construed that he was looking at something else.

The first camera angle clearly show that he was looking at cold hard metal baubles and virtually oblivious to the presence (or lack thereof) of fleshy ones hiding behind the metal ones. In particular, he appears to be trying to work out what the design/image is on the pink or white ribboned brooch thingo on her upper left.

The second camera angle supports the same assessment and it is only his look to the ceiling that creates a false impression that he was trying to look at tits rather than jewellry.

I guess there was some sort of address going on (prolly why near everyone is looking the same way and not talking) which is why he couldn't just do the "excuse me, but WTF is that hanging around your neck ?" thang.
