ANTI-monarchist Morrissey has taken aim at Britain's royal family again - blaming the Queen's brood for the suicide of the nurse caught up in the Duchess of Cambridge's pregnancy prank scandal. Jacintha Saldanha took her own life after she was duped into giving up information about Prince William's wife, Catherine, to two 2DayFM DJs, who fooled her into thinking they were the Queen and Prince Charles live on air.
The stunned radio hosts have since stepped down from their show following the tragedy, and now the former The Smiths frontman is calling on the royals to show some remorse. "Even with the recent story about the nurse killing herself in King Edward Hospital, there's no blame placed on Kate Middleton (Catherine), who was in the hospital as far as I could see for absolutely no reason,'' he told New Zealand's 3News. "She feels no shame about the death of this woman, she's saying nothing about the death of this poor woman. The arrogance of the British royals is staggering, absolutely staggering. And why it's allowed to be I really don't know,'' Morrissey said.
The Duchess checked into the hospital earlier this month with severe morning sickness - but Morrissey is convinced the visit was unnecessary. He adds, "Does she have a health condition...? What is the health condition? I mean morning sickness already? So much hoo haw and then suddenly as bright as a button as soon as this poor woman dies she's out of hospital? It doesn't ring true. That's my assumption too - that this poor woman was severely berated by the hospital about the incident, which is possibly the main reason that pushed her to the edge. There are also reports that the hospital has not reached out to the family other than a half hearted "yeah if you need help, let us know".

Yes she was probably berated by the hospital but Singers still need to STFU and keep out of it, he is just adding fuel to the fire.
Someone is famous because they happen to have a good voice and they think that gives them the right to share their uneducated opinions with the world. Big difference between us, ranting and raving here and him ranting and raving to a major daily newspaper reporter.

However, i don't believe the hospital is being honest - I worked in an aussie hospital as a teen, bitchiest place I ever worked along with a fashion place and a toorak hairdresser.
That hospital actually drove people mad, I had to go get a crazy co-worker wandering the streets and have her admitted to a psych ward.
And why exactly was that young me doing that?
Good question - hospital didn't give a crap, she was disturbing the peace & if I didn't help her cops would have just picked her up.
