What gave it away. "Wisteria Sister", "conniving", or "pump out a couple more Windors" ?

Channel 9 didn't cut anything off. It showed Rolf leading a singalong that even the Royals were joining in, and Lenny getting Left-ard Totalitarian on him and being booed by the crowd for his jackbootedness.

Here tis from the MSM: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...lf-Harris-says-Queen-looking-better-I-am.html

I suspect it ain't the first time Lenny has bashed on about skin colour at an occassion where nobody G.A.F, too ...

Anyhoo, here is the tube

Lenny was probably told that they needed to fill in due to some technical problem, asked Rolf to help, Lenny probably only interupted Rolf because he had someone in his ear telling him problem fixed get on with the program, he panicked and cut into Rolf - who poor old bugger was not up with what was going on. Yes it could have been handled better but OMG we can't all be perfect.

Well I'm off to dig into the boxes looking for photos of me in front of the gates of Buckingham

I did chuckle at Wisteria Sister!

Coz of this sort of article ?

http://www.vanityfair.com/society/features/2011/04/meet-the-middletons-201104

My current assessment is as follows:

I doubt if she would have ever been with him if he wasn't somewhat destined for the throne.
He well deserves the throne and perhaps is all but ready for it, what with all his public service and life long training and all.
She wants outfits and fame and to be the talk of the telly but actual real public service will be through gritted teeth and sulks.
He admires his Grandma and will want to continue to do her proud, continue to try and best serve Britain, the Commonwealth, and the Church of England, and continue to put his life on the line for others.
She will try to best serve herself and favour being served over serving others.

Perhaps she may eventually learn what Royalty is all about, and I would hope so too, but I fear that it will end up being too little too late for history to remember her in a honestly positive light.

However, pumping out some new Real Royals to be properly trained up might help soften the cruel harshness I discern in her, if not totally distract from it.

... but could she stand the competition the fruit of her loins would bring ?

Anyhoo, who here would actually want the kind of life the Windsors must endure, or wish such a life for their kids ?

Certainly not I.

I prefer freedom. :D

did anyone else damn near have a heart attack when Liz decided to peer over the balcony a bit? I swear I was already having stress at how low that rail was (I have a heights/fall thing lol) I nearly lept off the lounge to catch her when she did that :\

I have to agree with you there Ders, it would be horrible having your life mapped out for you like that.

Wow, it's all been amazing.
First the wedding and now this!
We want this every year now.

Whatever happened to Princesss Margaret's kids.
Do they get invited to Royals occassions?

Vicountess Lindley, here with her daughter Margarita Armstrong-Jones, chose a mint suit by Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton—a collection with a strong nod toward the immutable style of Queen Elizabeth.

What creepy eyes !

At least the fangs are sheathed ...

Rubbish. Leave kate alone. Vilifying public figures who are also young, beautiful women smacks of bullying to me. Give. The girl a go.
She has taken on an onerous. Job and is doing the best she can.

She's gorgeous.
I loved watching how the 3 youngins hang together like the 3 amigos, she's obviously great friends with Harry.

Ders - what would he know about young women, other than perving

30 = young now does it ? lol

Anyhoo, she's far from being "beautiful" ... well, unless scrawny all knees and elbows and skin wrapped skull face is your thang. Certainly not my cup of tea at all.

Let's face it, she's rougher than Lilo after a night or two in the slammer.

Perhaps pregancy might make a better looking woman out of her ?

She has taken on an onerous. Job and is doing the best she can.

The Wisteria Sister fragrantly and tenaciously climbed to exactly where she was encouraged to design to be but I don't dispute your "the best she can".

It's just that AFAIC I doubt if "her best" is ever going to measure up.

[ADIT] If it is any consolation, I would agree that Mary from Tas was and is beautiful and that motherhood seems to have improved things.

FFS, grow up derspatz.

Hate her all you like, posting a photo blown up that much of anyone wouldn't be complimentary.

She's a pretty girl, whether she's with William for the glory or cos she really loves him, what difference does it make to you?

What threatens you so much about a confident beautiful female? Scared, are you? Sad little man.

Oh dear....digging yourself a deeper hole there, Ders

(I think that is one of THE most sexist/nasty comments I have read in a long, long time. :( )

But at the same time not really suprised.

Jubilee'n'BBB lovin over, back to normal programming. :)

"Perhaps pregancy might make a better looking woman out of her ?"

Yeah, coz you know how pregnancy followed by child birth generally brings about a filling out of flesh and a healthy glow and vitality in a woman ? Well I reckon Kate could benefit with a healthy dose of that, what with her currently looking like she has some sort of eating disorder or wasting disease and all.

I wouldn't be surprised if her husband wishes she would eat a bit more and stop bruising him with all the corners rather than curves she currently has.

However, I do concede that perhaps she is under a bit of pressure to commence with her Windsor Brood Mare responsibilities. I mean, how old was Lady Di when she started doing her bit in that regard ?

(wikiwikiwiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diana,_Princess_of_Wales)

Oooer, she was TWENTY.

Dare I say "tick tock, tick tock" ?

I do, I do :p

(I think that is one of THE most sexist/nasty comments I have read in a long, long time. :( )

Umm, thank you ?

Hmmm, obviously only the sisterhood is allowed to comment on way too skinny Kate and no male should dare offer an opinion on what a male actually thinks makes for an attractive looking woman.

Is the sisterhood seriously not concerned as to how unhealthy looking scrawny Kate is ?

Does the sisterhood really think that males would think her to be physically "beautiful" ?

Arrrgh, I can see we will get no where on this coz I'm not of the sisterhood and shall never to privy to the REAL truth / opinions you have so we might as well move on to another target. :)

Sooooo, how fat did Kylie's ankles look the other night in that black buttoned bit of embarrasment ! :D :D :D

lol.jpg

... oh, and her bulging rump too, in that longer split white number.

heh.jpg

You think that @ 43 or whatever she is she would take better care of her assets, no ?

Still, @ least at 43 she doesn't look as harsh as 30yo ... oh that's right, we've moved on. ;)
