Post BB Housemate Antics - Part 3

I just got to meet Vesna today it was amazing. We met at her local shopping centre and the sweetheart shouted me a hot chocolate. Me and my mother where fortunate enough to get to talk to her about her time in the house and life after the show. She was such a crack up and exactly like she was on the show. However we mostly spoke about planning a fundraiser for Reggie's son Lucas who is battling Cystic Fibrosis which my sister has as well. Unfortunately for Reggie the drug which Lucas needs has been knocked back by the government and isn't available at an affordable price. So in order to help Reggie Vesna has begun planning on a fundraiser for Reggie here in Melbourne this July in order to raise funds for Lucas. Vesna told us her main goal for this fundraiser is to make it a Big Brother reunion for Reggie. She has contacted several housemates so fat but has struggled to secure certainty in the housemates attendance. Vesna had requested personally that I post this on the Behind Big Brother Forums and is hopeful that we can possibly manage to get 50 housemates to attend. So that is how it went down and Vesna is very hopeful in getting at least 50 housemates to attend and me and my Mother have agreed to do all that we can to help her.[DOUBLEPOST=1483614730][/DOUBLEPOST]Although I didn't get a photo with her she did send me a very nice Facebook post

a) Good on you for meeting her. She is a legend and adored by many on this forum
b) Not sure how much help we can be on this forum recruiting Housemates. But I will try. I can't seem to tag but there are a fair few HM's who have been on here, and more that I know look at it

Yeah we addressed the issue of how hard it would be to recruit housemates. But I suggested to Vesna to post this on here and she thought it was a great idea. Her goal is to get enough housemates to come so that it becomes relevant in the media like "Big Brother stars reunite for fundraiser for Reggie". Thus people will notice the cause more and become more aware of cystic fibrosis but also secondly it will promote Big Brother and could show that it is still relevant through fans.

Awww, I love that idea. I don't really personally have much to do with any of the HM's anymore - I know the lovely @Khun Khun has met Sandra and Sandra seems like a super kind person. Despite my jokes, Cat and Lawson also seem like lovely people and are in Melbourne so I do think if they were tweeted/Instagrammed etc. they would be good people to talk to

It would really help out a lot! Even if we just recruited one housemate at a time! Those housemates could then recruit other housemates to come!

Yeah I started a new thread. I'm really hoping this works as Reggie has been through so much and my family understands the stress of the disease her son has and we are really hopeful to bring a great big smile to Reggie's face!

As far as I have seen most of the housemates will go to charity things. I don't know about traveling to the location though or how far away they live from the place.

It should be not that difficult to get media attention because they seem to like Reggie.

I've met Cat and Lawson too. They were with Sandra.
