Those people are extremely ridiculous! They should mind their own business and go get a life. My partner lives right next to a school and some parents' (usually mothers) get there at no joke 2pm in the afternoon. I can only imagine they arrive early so they can talk and gossip with the other parents' about how they are raising their child a certain way and why it is the only way to do it. I imagine that many of these women are the ones that are the know it alls on those parenting forums. I sometimes wonder if they even give their husbands any attention at all?

They should mind their own business. They would be shocked to see how other countries raise their kids and are doing just fine. Any advise I've been given has been from the women around me and they have given amazing advise. I mind my own business when they are there commenting about things. No point arguing with them and tbh I couldn't care less these days. When I was a new mother though, it was intimidating.

We have a know it all in the family and her face when my mother in law gave my 12 months at the time a lentil and rice dish with spices was hilarious apparently. I trust my mother in law and she did me a favour babysitting my kids when I was at work. She thought it was ok and so did I.
