Yeah, that's my name don't wear it out. :wideyed: :beaver:

You do know how to use Google search after all Consuela.

I thought was being vague enough when I said my given name was of Scandinavian origin and not explicitly Swedish.

I momentarily contemplated feigning denial but then again how many hispanised swedish names are there? lol

Whenever I’m in need of some top notch detective work I’ll be sure to request your services. :sneaky:

Okay that's enough about me... for the time being. :pompus:

Ha! Bitch. In my defence Gustavo is the only Scandinavian Spanish name I know so it's your own fault as you know I love a good stalking.

I didn't think there was a 'cool' group until at least half way through and that Tim was actually part of it. There certainly wasn't a cool group at the beginning and I doubt that Tim can take credit for the early evictions.

I think there was one pretty early on, but Tim was the one that gave it that label. I remember early on there being a very noticeable clique that included Ed, Matt, Caleb, Jaz, Heidi, Tahan and Tully. They were all pretty nasty to Mikkayla and wrote her off right away and Jaz, Heidi and Tully in particular were pretty nasty behind Jade's back (over the Ed and Drew stuff I think). I remember Tim speaking about going to the DR a few times and expressing concern that they were trying to isolate Mikkayla and Jade from the rest of the group and that he was going to make it a mission to make sure they didn't get rid of either of them.

I remember then Tim getting the shits because Xavier decided to align himself with "the meatheads and models" instead of him so he targeted him the week he left. Then the following week when Caleb left the "cool group" that Tim had spoken about all got together and devised a mutiny against Tim because they didn't think he deserved to be there over Caleb.

I do think there were always groups in the house, but I think Tim did a lot to make them more obvious.

True, Tim did a good job at bringing it to the public's attention by setting various people up, and BB production ran with it in giving some housemates less favourable edits than others. I didn't think he did this by strategising with the other housemates though. I saw him as more of a loner that gravitated from group to group. He made friends with Drew, and then later Jade.

@tee_smyth @cheriegiles So weird! No one said anything then next thing there's a dog next to my face & everything smelt like cupcakes

"Queen Bee" Katie is not one to bite her tongue, and following her Eviction sting last night, she's dishing the dirt... on everyone!
Stay tuned for the full video coming soon, but here’s a spicy little taste of what to expect from Sydney’s 25-year-old cupcake queen…

“King Lawson… He is sadistic. He’s definitely, first and foremost out of everyone, playing the game.”

“I think Cat is a victim in life… She’s 31, and I don’t think that she acts like a 31-year-old.”

“Initially I thought Skye was this little bubble of gorgeousness, but I work with children and I have not dealt with a more spoilt little brat ever.”

“Jake’s definitely playing Lisa and Skye with this love triangle… Jake the snake.”

“Aisha had a bit of an issue with me from day dot because Travis was sort of pursuing me when she came in.”

Sounds harsh? Katie maintains she’s just “brutally honest”.

“‘Mean Girl’ is one thing, and that’s being mean with intention,” Katie said of the ‘mean girl’ label. “I don’t think that I did anything with malice.”

There is one Housemate who she’s not got a bad word about though; House BFF and fellow Sydneysider Ryan.

“With Ryan, there was such a true, honest connection… I didn’t want to waste that on a relationship,” Katie said. “I’m just so glad that I have him in my life… I will definitely be catching up with Ryan in Sydney, 150%.”

Comedy wonderland beckons for Big Brother's Ben Zabel

Brisbane's most famous Big Brother housemate wants to hide away from public life, but given his endearing dorkiness and flair for one-liners, Ben Zabel might have a hard
time being a hermit.

The 32-year-old has agreed to perform a one-man comedy show in an attempt to answer questions about his life before, during and after his stint on 2013 season of the reality TV show.

"I see this as my grand farewell after which I can retire, but for some reason [producers] see this as my hello," Zabel said.

"I don't know, I think they're just out to make money off me," he said.

A Quiet Night In will premiere as part of the Brisbane Powerhouse's first Wonderland festival of cabaret, circus and comedy in December.

"We're calling it a show, but it's really just therapy for me," Zabel said.

"Also I'm a bit lazy because everyone asks me questions on Twitter or Facebook or my private email, and I thought 'Why don't I put you all in a room and charge you?'"

The long-time Bert and Patti Newton fanatic said he was happy to spill the beans about the bizarre things that have happened to him since Big Brother made him a household name.

"People take pictures of my shopping trolley, they want to know what I'm eating," he said.

"I eat very well, but can I tell you when I go to Woolworths and I buy the occasional junk, I now bury it under my fruit and vegetables."
Zabel said people ask what medications he's on while he's waiting at the chemist, and was even asked for a selfie after being involved in a minor car bingle.

"I obliged, but I was pretty angry about that one," he said.

Zabel lives in Fortitude Valley with his French bulldog Roy, gifted to him by admiring fans after his eviction from the house.

Despite doing some commercials and working on a secret project with Big Brother 2013 winner Tim Dormer, he tries to avoid leaving his apartment.

"I need a holiday, but you can't say that to a lot of people because they think Big Brother and the house is a holiday," he said.

"But you can't relax, you've got cameras in the toilet...and I've never felt comfortable in the toilets, which is unusual for a gay man to say."
Zabel said he would probably deal with the anxiety of performing to strangers by wearing his pyjamas, a habit he developed during Big Brother.

"You know how people in Teneriffe go around in gym gear, even though they haven't actually done anything that day, but because they're comfortable and maybe a little arrogant?" he said.

"I find pyjamas very comfy in the same way...and also people still send me pyjamas in the mail.

With more than 42,000 fans on Twitter, Ben said his biggest supporter remained his mother.

"The rest of my family are manual arts teachers and butchers, and they want me to get a proper job," he said.

"They think I should become an aged care worker, but I don't want to use a hoist."

The Wonderland festival features 29 different performances from December 3 to 14, including boylesque troupe Briefs and TV theme-inspired collaboration between The Kransky Sisters and Topology.

Tickets are on sale now through the Brisbane Powerhouse website.
