Also, I think the speculation does have some credibility but I don't think it's to do with them not flying to see each other. It seems Tully is still hanging on to her Newtown lesbian scene (cheers [MENTION=24613]Reaper[/MENTION] for putting me on to that quality series!)... And perhaps Dougal and Drew's other friends have their own opinions on all of that...

I always thought that Tully and Dougal did get on - but I could be wrong. When Tully has commented on Libby or Ash's photos - they will often respond back with heart emoticons or a miss you comment . But I could also understand them being protective of Drew and concerned he may get hurt. I don't quite understand the Lesbian coven thing, but they are her friends so she will spend time with them, regardless of whether she is with Drew or not. I wouldn't expect her to abandon her friends.

If you did overcome these obstacles to see your long-distance bf, it doesn't make sense that she went out one of the nights/days with a group of girls there and there was mention of her cutting the trip short, Tahan setting up tickets, to go watch the dog so Tahlia could go out on the town.

But why wouldn't she hang out with her friends while she was in Melbourne? It's the same thing people were saying when she dared to go get her nails done with Jazz and then she posted a pic of them having a drink together after without Drew. As though if she goes to Melbourne or he goes to Sydney then they have to spend every minute together. I don't think that's normal at all.

As for cutting the trip short, on Jan 3rd she said "Last minute trip down to Melbourne! Excited to check out Big Camp down at Somers with @ xavbait and @ BoogRoe! #bigcamp #LSCandPH ⛺️". The next day she tweets that Luna is sick and then she goes back home two days later when Tahlia's on the piss. That camp appearance wasn't until two weeks later as we saw this past weekend with Xavier, Ed, Jazz and Tahan going so I'm thinking that was a scheduling/communication f up on someone's part or why else would it be last minute. She did cut her trip short thanks to Tahan's HM but it's not like she ever was going to hang around in Melbourne for two weeks and heaven forbid miss her week with Luna especially when she's sick or has her Today Show gig.

Based on their interactions and other things they've said ie Tully agreeing last week with someone that her and Drew are talking on the phone instead of on SM, I don't see any sign there's an issue with them. We just got used to seeing them constantly together because for the first 5 weeks or so they were out of the house, they weren't paying to see each other and had a ton of appearances. Although even when they were practically living in each others' pockets thanks to Ch 9, if they were apart for more than 5 minutes let alone 5 days people in here were still saying they were done so I guess this is how people are going to react until they eventually break up some day.

No the trip was before. Jan 3 she comes to Melb, Jan 4th Luna gets sick, Jan 6th she goes back to Sydney.

Tully was actually in Melbourne when Luna was rushed to the Vet- she left Luna with someone else ( believe it or not!) the day before when she flew down. I can't imagine her taking Luna to the vet when desperately sick and then leaving to go to Melbourne.

but you can't really expect for Drew to only mix with Gays and Lesbians when he visits Tully either. if Drew is 100% hetero it would bother him, the 'coven' (that is a horrible name) are a tight clique, tighter than i thought, and the lifestyle is so so different from his. hope this makes sense

i'm pretty sure from her twitter she didn't go back to Melb, her and Tahlia nursed Luna. i think that's right

This is the timeline as I remember it

Tully had Luna on the NYE trip, dog got sick, rushed dog back to Sydney for vet, spent 700 cool haircut (Tahlia seemed upset for the expense),dog was OK stomach ache, went to see Drew, hung out with girls in Melb one day of the 2, Tahan got her tickets to rush back to Syd so that Tahlia could go out and get piss drunk

It makes complete sense. I wouldn't expect Drew to feel comfortable with them - although he did meet some of Tully's friends one night on his first trip to Sydney - and seemed to be OK - 'the dinasour drinking out of the glass night' . I think Tully has a few different groups of friends - obviously Drew would not fit in with Tahlias group of friends for obvious reasons. I think Tully has other heterosexual friends as well - we just haven't seen much of them on SM. There are always new friends to be made too.
