Maybe I have been reading too much here and have fallen into the deep speculation hole, but something I found interesting or possibly just a total coincidence is this.

It has been reported that Tim is taking a film crew along and will try to sell the finished product to CH9. Fair enough good to see Tim backing himself. Here is the kicker though.

In video 1 Ben seemingly randomly says Oh we should go to Dallas as well. They are heading to South America, depending on what they are doing, Buenos Aires is not a bad jump off point. Now Ben wants to go to New York.

Now strangely or just coincidence Qantas happens to fly direct to these 3 Destinations, Dallas/Fort Worth, JFK - New York and Buenos Aires.

Maybe Tim has done a deal with Qantas.

Am I becoming a good speculator or just a nit wit.?

You could be onto something there! However I didn't realise you would fly to Buenos Aires direct through Qantas. When I went in 2012 I looked everywhere for a direct flight but the only place any went to direct were Chile.

Yeah you guys are right, Qantas fly to Santiago they stopped flying to Beunos Aires in 2012.

Scratch that speculation.

He most definitely played the game. He played it very well too. But, I don't think he was as manipulative as the hm's or some viewers thought. He exposed hm's, that's very true. But how the hm's reacted was up to them. Far too much emphasis was thrown on Tim in regards to this IMO. Yes, his last two weeks in how he responded to boog was pathetic. I don't even pretend this. But it wasn't enough for me to undo all the Tim things I enjoyed in the house. In fact, his last two weeks made him more relatable in that he can react the way I or another would- defensive behaviour. The pash fest? I thought he was just a horny 29 year old.

But Santiago is probably a better route to get into "the jungle" Tim wants to visit. Get's you to the Amazon in Peru as well as Macchu Picchu quicker than via BA. Far better jungle there than in Argentina.

BA is ideal if you want to drink, I mean, sample lots of Malbec

Yeah, I noticed that. Also, you wouldn't want to be planning it for later in the year in case work opportunities came up for either of them.

I do this a lot. I go I to my walk in wardrobe, close the door and lie down. It's where I do the best thought processing and takes me away for the moment.

I'm really not a nutcase or anything, but we all have our niches, right?

Let's just agree to disagree on this [MENTION=35834]Sweet_Geek[/MENTION], although I have to say I think you're really giving him a pass on the pashing. Still love the fact that Boog wouldn't go there ;)
 
When I went to SA I had to fly Syd - Gold Cost - Auckland - Santiago - Lima. It sucked balls. Not the trip, just the flying. I should've spent a night in Santiago but I was meeting someone in Lima and wanted to get there ASAP. I assume there is a slightly more direct way than this though?

I'm really craving a steak from Mendoza right now.

I hear you. With a nice Malbec. I still think it is as least Syd-Santiago-Lima. So much flying, but I want to go back!

God, yes. Red wine in general is not normally my preference, but I couldn't get enough if it there. The steaks though... heaven.

I just realised today is actually one year since that horrible 24 hours (or thereabouts) flights took place. Wish it was today!

Yep. When I went I flew from Syd to Santiago then to Lima, then caught a train out to the Amazon.

The Qantas thing could be right. Hopefully it is otherwise with all the places they want to go Tim's money will be all gone by the end of the trip(s).

To me Tim's response and subsequent attitude to Boog and Drews wasn't about 'undoing' anything that happened before. He's a lovable class clown pot stirrer, nothing can 'undo' that. It just that it finally revealed to all and sundry what a giant hypocritical douche bag was lying beneath the surface all this time. Tim did great job of hiding his true floggish colours for almost 4 months but I thank Boogs for stripping him naked before us all near the end, figuratively speaking of course. :cool:

[MENTION=16239]adsyj[/MENTION]...I am also very interested in the nitty gritty of this trip and sincerely hope it's not all just a figment of Tim's imagination! He could very well have done a deal with an airline but somehow I doubt that Ben's travel bucket list will play ANY part in this adventure. My spin on the whole thing has less to do with Tim's promise to Ben and more to do with Tim trying to prove he is worthy of his own show.

Oh, and it is very refreshing to read some balanced debate ^^...I guess as long as we all agree on Ed's seersucker jacket, that's all that really matters :D

You could be right.

Personally I see the whole trip ending in tears. I would of thought Ben would hate traipsing around the jungle and floating up a river with Tim niggling away at him.

Ben should just grab the Graceland trip and escape after that.

don't forget that Tim was a self-proclaimed underdog, outlining all the reasons he was an underdog, even going on to say he knows people always love an underdog

Tim might think he was an an underdog on the show. but in reality a Top Dog he will never be
 
I've kind of skimmed some of the last few pages but-
I saw some of you talking about who was going to film Tim's trip - when Tim released the first video, I think it was just the preview one? Anyhow just after he did that he followed Lisa Fardy on twitter who is, as you may know generally or from previous discussions in this thread, a producer for Southern Star Entertainment. This gave me the impression that Tim had probably hooked something up with SSE for filming. However since she is a producer on Big Brother it could simply be a coincidence and mean nothing.

Roxy will probably get Drew and Tully another mag deal to put it more plainly to everyone that everything is fine - and take half of the payout while she is at it (I've been reading her book The Rumour Mill... :p)

It will be interesting to see if they end up showing their faces at Portsea Polo or not.

I'm saddened that we seem to have temporarily lost our little instagrammer.
 
I'm hoping that Ben is just joking about all the places he wants to visit on Tim's dime...
If it IS a joke then great.
And sorry Ben lovers, but I don't know I could stand watching Ben's pyjama clad contrived persona for very long on that trip. Just personal preference.
