we are definitely off the track i think, but,

if Drew wants to go to Sth America, and Drew is paying for it himself, then why not go with Tully, or Dougal? there is no reason why that can't happen. if Tim pays then it will always be on TIms terms, that's the problem i see

My concern now is that Drew accepted Tim's invite to go on these trips with him and Ben, Drew indicated he was going, and I'm wondering if Tully pitched a fit and thats what they fought about, and now Drew is backing out of going? If that is the case, then the term Tim used would totally apply. I really hope that is not the case, was really looking forward to seeing Drew on the trip too and if he isn't, just because of her, then wow. that would be really messed up. He wants to go with Tim and Ben, I know he does.

Fair enough if you think it's barbed as that's your prerogative obviously. :)

But I think Ben also favouriting the Tweet is a pretty big indication of Tim's motivation behind it. Going back to what I said last week and keeping in mind that we have zero clue about what plans they've made, what plans Drew wants to be a part of, and don't know these people at all... Drully fans could look at Tim's Tweet as indication that their relationship is actually doing fine - and more importantly, stop stressing about the state of their relationship every second they're apart and based on their social media activity - and see that Tim simply made the same joke that guys (and girls) the world over make about their loved up friends every day. I guess it's all at how you look at things.
 
Regardless of what Tim said, going on a trip like this would require quite a bit of cash for all sorts expenses. If someone had offered me a 'free' trip overseas when I was a Uni student, unless they were paying for EVERYTHING, there is no way I could have gone. Uni students are bare-arsed poor! So, unless Drew has some $$$ behind him, it might be a case of just not being in a financial position to go.

On another note, it's still not clear who is funding the filming of this trip away. I haven't seen any TV channel associate themselves with it. Also, who was filming Tim's interviews with Ben...a proper film crew or just a friend? Maybe someone who's on Twitter can ask Tim about the logistics of it all.

I agree with you about the Snapchat thing. I think people are forgetting that Drew actually went on Snapchat and sent out his username well before Tim was even in Melbourne. If my memory isn't failing yet, he was with Dougal that night and Dougal did the same thing. If people think Drew's a big enough boy to be in a relationship and even consider moving interstate for a new girlfriend, then surely they should give him enough credit to make his own decisions about a trip. Tim didn't put a gun to Drew's head to go on Snapchat; he was already on it before Tim was in the picture. If Drew does or doesn't decide to go on this trip, it won't be because Tully told him he couldn't.

definitely not because tully told him he couldn't....but maybe because of what he would or wouldn't come back to if he does ;)

[MENTION=34034]LoveBB[/MENTION] I think it was a friend filming - I'm pretty sure a female one so I assumed Renee - as you can hear a giggle faintly in the background. I think this is something Tim is financing completely on his own. Obviously if a production company or tv station jumped on board he'd be ecstatic but from everything I've seen so far and his replies to others, it appears he's footing the entire bill at the moment.

Pretty much it really. Of course he'd be disappointed if Drew really isn't going. They both would be. I still think Drew is going though but maybe Tully isn't keen...which is understandable given she wasn't invited but surely she didn't actually expect that Tim would invite her.

I had considered that maybe that allegeded Drully fight might have been because of it. If Drew was invited, and I have no doubt in my mind that he would have been, then why didn't Tim make a big deal about Drew's inclusion? Perhaps Drew has confided in Tim that Tully isnt happy about it? Just a theory.

Do you know how expensive it is to go to South America? Drew was working in retail before the show, and doesn't seem to have done any really since it finished. I very much doubt he has enough money to go to South America, especially if he has to foot Tully's bill as well. There's no way he wouldn't want to go with Tim and Ben.
