I just added 2 + 2 but instead of getting 4 I might have gotten 7485927274.

how fitting,

2 + 2 = 5
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The phrase "two plus two equals five" ("2 + 2 = 5") is a slogan used in many different forms of media, but more specifically in George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four[1] as an example of an obviously false dogma one may be required to believe, similar to other obviously false slogans by the Party in the novel. It is contrasted with the phrase "two plus two makes four", the obvious—but politically inexpedient—truth. Orwell's protagonist, Winston Smith, uses the phrase to wonder if the State might declare "two plus two equals five" as a fact; he ponders whether, if everybody believes it, does that make it true? The Inner Party interrogator of thought-criminals, O'Brien, says of the mathematically false statement that control over physical reality is unimportant; so long as one controls their own perceptions to what the Party wills, then any corporeal act is possible, in accordance with the principles of doublethink ("Sometimes they are five. Sometimes they are three. Sometimes they are all of them at once"

Sorry to interrupt the Tully pity party, but I have a mother and a sister, and neither of them have said a positive or comforting thing to me in my entire life. And my father can't even remember my name. I have good friends who support me. It's better than nothing.

I think when you have adverse relationships with family, it makes you resilient to the big bad world...you learn to adapt and align yourself with people and friends who are your support network and they become like family. You make the best of it and realise that all the BS that is associated with some familiy members is unhealthy and not worth the angst. It's great that you have friends who understand.

i remembered Tully saying that she came home one day and was told to empty out her Mothers belongings and she wasn't comfortable with that. her Mum was still alive but the process was as if she had died. i think this event has played on Tully a whole lot, and attributed to some of her behaviour. she said she kept her Mums red lipstick as she remember her Mum wearing it, a favourite maybe?

Tully is closest to Jazz out of all the HMs and i associate Jazz with lipstick

any budding psychologists in here want to analyse this

i don't know why your Dad doesn't know your name but as far as your Mum and sis, you are not alone here by any means. glad you have support and are a strong person :)

That's a very long bow you're asking us to draw..but mother's lips and kissing, words of endearment? (Did I pass?)

i don't know? it's just a connection somehow which is really silly but sort of makes sense at the same time. sometimes you remember things at the weirdest times. does lipstick subliminally mean something to Tully? i have noticed when she herself wears bright red i think of her Mum

Oh please. And whilst i may have just bitched about Tully, remember she has a mother with Alzheimer's in Sydney who may not recognise her daughter, but whom her daughter still loves. Congratulations on being so sure of your love so quickly. Perhaps others, when they are outside the BB house see the sense in being sure too.

You're an angry little Troll aren't you. I said I didn't know why she was staying in Sydney, so I didn't know about her mother. I'm sorry I don't know everything about her as you do. And don't patronise me about my wife, all I was saying is life changes are made much easier when you have someone to share them with.

………...

Anyway so maybe Drew can move to Sydney then and support Tully. Again if it was true love he would do it.
