Drew also shot down the rumour

As did Tully:
rhiannon_mastin: How does everyone know that tee_smyth and DREWBB13 broke up? Is it even true??
tee_smyth: rhiannon_mastin DREWBB13 Absolute load of shit.

I'm thinking the answer, young grasshopper, is a big fat yes.

Thanks @ 13CABS for taking care of a drunken mess get home safely #greatnight

she is a trainer at my gym, I park my car right behind them there. Haven't seen her there since BB though..

Unpopular opinion here but Drew just doesn't do it for me. Physically he's very much my type and is absolutely gorgeous on the eye, but I've always found it difficult to separate looks from personality (probably the same reason I went off Tahan). His wit and sense of humour are very attractive qualities, however in the house he was incredibly nasty behind people's backs and would never stand up for himself or anyone he agreed with when they needed it (I.e. Telling Tahan he had her back during pancake gate but then running away when she needed him to stand up for her). I don't know, as attractive as a guy could be to me physically, if he doesn't have a backbone I find it very unattractive. It's one of the many reasons why Ed doesn't do it for me either.

I will admit though that I was pretty much in love with Drew in the beginning (before I started to see that side of him), and for that reason alone his eviction upset me a bit.

On having a backbone:

I don't think it was that he didn't have a backbone...

I think his game was mainly about not taking sides and playing everyone off each other in the house (look at his trick or treat package as an example of some of the shit he stirred up) and being a "social chameleon".....of course he wouldn't stand up for Tahan and alienate himself against the Sugar Sisters and that whole side (Jade, Mikkayla, etc.) that disliked Tahan...

..I actually liked that about him....Everyone was onto Tim and his shit-stirring but I think Drew actually did it more sneakily... (but I do agree a lot of fans don't like this kind of tactic)

On being mean:

...He never said anything close to as mean as "I hope she dies in a hole" (so if he's mean then you certainly have to call Jade mean)...he was honest about how much certain people annoyed him....They annoyed me too so I can sympathize with him wanting to vent about them..

Your opinion is totally a popular one!! And the exact reason I said judge him without the house stuff, Tully, etc! Purely based on how he looks - even for someone like me who typically doesn't go for a guy like him - I have to admit he's gorgeous. More so because he's "untouched" ie no hair extensions, teeth whitening, Botox, etc. Fair enough if you (a general 'you') simply think he's ugly but my whole thing was take everything BB related out of it and then judge his looks. :)

Some good news for Ben! I remember hearing about his Brisbane radio gig, but didn’t realise he’ll also be a regular on Channel 9. Story in The Herald Sun from yesterday:

Big Brother eviction wasn't the end for Ben Zabel as a media career beckons at Channel 9

BEN Zabel's just scored a regular spot on Mornings and has been screen-tested for another Nine show, putting him up there with Kochie as one of Australia's most unlikely TV personalities. But these two bespectacled, balding blokes resonate with viewers because they are authentic. What they have is more valuable than Osher Gunsberg's mane of hair, Steve (The Commando) Willis's six pack and Kris Smith's looks.

Ever since he walked on to the Big Brother set at Dreamworld, Zabel had people's attention, but this was mainly because they thought he was part of a set-up, an actor pretending to be the nerd housemate from hell.

Would any other 30-year-old treasure an album of songs by Bert Newton or pictures of his mum and nan? But if Zabel was the ultimate jokester, the punchline has yet to be ¬revealed, while his numerous meltdowns in the house confirmed that he is the real deal.

Last week came the news that he will be a permanent fixture on our screens as a regular reporter on The Morning Show hosted by Sonia Kruger and David Campbell. "I'll be doing vox pops, film junkets and red carpet reports once a week from next year," he says. "It came about after I did that nice ARIA report for the show."

looks like a good step in the right direction for Benny

Nothing like a rushed vet trip first thing in the morning to wake you up on a Sunday! Luna you little shit- stop trying to eat sticks.

this is karma coming back to a few of us complaining about the excessive Luna tweets, i feel guilty now. how horrible for them both :( nothing worse than an emergency dash for anyone

It really does. I was disappointed when he was evicted, but in hindsight it was probably good timing for him. Had he been one of the final 3, he wouldn’t have been involved in any of the ‘media stuff’ he was (segment for the finale, Arias, etc), leading to a regular gig. Who knows – maybe it would have happened regardless, but riding the BB wave while it was still on TV certainly did no harm. Good on him.

Lovely news for Ben! I think Drew will be cast in a soap next year- watch this space. He will probably go to Hollywood and be the next Chris Hemsworth, but I still won't like him! I don't like his look, but there it is! I don't know why Tim thinks people would be against him getting an I Pad- I don't know any 30 year olds who don't have one. Plus imagination is not just dreaming about dolphins, whales etc, Tim does not have the patent on imagination- maybe he says that stuff to provoke?!
Poor Luna, such a pretty little doggie, hope she's Ok

Good on Ben. I wouldn't say I have missed seeing him on my screens, but good for him.

Tully replied to me at last, she was at GT, how could I possibly miss her? I really wasn't expecting her to go since she has been absent for a while and isn't exactly loved by some people there. and also since Tahlia was on the poster, but apparently she was there. Next time..

I also think it took backbone to be with Tully in the house. Drew was well aware that Tim, who was his closest male friend, didn't approve.
And in the nastiness stakes, Drew rated about the same as ALL the others except Ben. They were playing a game.
And if we're looking at character traits, one of the most attractive ones for me was Drew's treatment of Ben, who has said that Drew was his favourite housemate.

Yep, I certainly agree in saying that if you take personality out of it and just think about his looks he's gorgeous. I was more referring to the people saying his personality is what's attractive. I certainly do agree that there are aspects of Drew's character that are hot as hell, but there's also a lot that turns me off personally. I know Tahan cops lot of crap for being nasty (from me myself sometimes), Jade does for the hole comment, Mikkayla does quite a bit too, however to me Drew was the nastiest in there by far in terms of being that way consistently...and I personal just don't find that side of him attractive and it really came out a lot. That's not even taking into account the lack of backbone or moral integrity (I'm sorry but it takes two people to cheat). I still remember when Drew was talking to Tully at the fence one night and was basically telling her that he just needed a girl in the house for affection like a "disposable girlfriend", and pretty much said that if they couldn't give him that then he had no use for them.

It's funny how I've been able to find pretty much all the HMs likable on the outside (although I'll be honest and say that Tahan has tried my patience), however unfortunately I still haven't been able to separate Drew's personality from his looks enough to find him as attractive as the masses have. Different strokes for different folks I guess. Part of me will always like Drew, and I can see his appeal...but when I see people going Gaga over him I'm kinda just sitting there like "I must be defective because to me he's not that wonderful".

I really liked Ben but it's wrong to say he didn't play games! He knew exactly what he was doing! He wasn't naive at all, has a potty mouth, knows what's what but I think he is very fun and needs a lot of emotional support. I think he might be next John Michael Howson (for us oldies), but please don't believe the naive shtick!

He really has been offered some great opportunities! This is fantastic news for Ben...the producers must be very fond of him; he is obviously what they're looking for...someone a little bit different!

Who said he didn't play games? Part of his game was in fact being Switzerland.

I agree...sometimes we just don't click with personalities and don't see what others see in them...I couldn't stand Jade (probably my least favorite) and some people on the other JA thread and fans that voted for her treat it like she's amazing..

I think Drew's a sweetheart from what I saw but obviously we saw it differently

..I wonder if I'm defective as well

About the "disposable girlfriend" comment…I disagree with your reading of it, specifically if they couldn't give him affection then he had no use for them. How does his relationship with Boog fit in?
As for nastiness, Drew said what was on his mind. Are those that sat by and let their friends slag off others any less culpable? In fact Boog seems to have been one of the few who would question others' interpretations of people's characters and reasoning.
