Thing is, surely he's too smart for the game of modelling. Maybe as a part time gig but kids like him have so much more on offer...I just can't see him in this scene!

I agree with you, but if you're successful at modelling, then you can earn enough money to give you options (like going to NIDA). I certainly don't wish for this as a longterm option, and I can't quite imagine Drew taking himself too seriously doing it. But how would I know?

Ah those Hilfiger shots are a perfect comparison! I could see him doing it for the same reason Jade is... make some cash and maintain the exposure but have your eye on the bigger prize. They both have been gifted with their looks with no work needed on their own part. If either of them were my kid/friend/whatever I'd be saying to go for it just so they can bank cash and recognition to work towards their end goal of acting.

As for Andrej... he is just remarkably beautiful. The fact that he can be so successful without too many people slinging hate on him shows how far we've come I think. I'm blown away every time I look at pics of him!

It would be interesting to know whether Chadwicks have approached Drew. They'r quite proactive in collecting new faces.

Is it still uncertain whether or not Drew has some form of PR manager? I'm starting to think part of the BB experience follow up should be some kind of initial (optional) management. Maybe they do liaise with the contestants regarding how to go about making the most of their fleeting fame but it seems like they are pretty much on their own once their contracts are up. Tully has the Ministry of Talent thing going on but she appears to be fielding her own jobs, freelance style.

Drew would be great in editorial stuff but you're right, I don't think his body would lend to runway. Actually none of the HMs this year - female or male - could've pulled that off really. Either they're too short ie Tahan and Jade, their bodies are too buff ie Ed, Matt or they're in between ie Drew and Tully. Actually Tully would probably have the best shot at runway. But the others could do wonders in mags and commercials.

Yeah I'm not sure how it works. The Ministry of Talent thing is for bloggers... basically a wing of Sweaty Betty PR that Roxy created that Drew nor any of the other HMs other than Tully would have a chance at as they simply aren't bloggers. (I'm still a bit convinced that Roxy started it to have something to promote to detract from her hubby being on trial for 50 million charges.)

You're right though... it does seem like the majority of them are just freestyling it on their own which makes me sad. I guess it kind of makes sense as come January there will be a whole new slew of reality tv show peeps who are the 'next big thing' so Ch 9 cares about these ones for a split second and then they're dust but you'd hope they'd get some guidance at least. Then again I wonder if it's the case of being a big fish in a small pond ie the Sugar Sisters passing for celebs on the GC when they wouldn't rate a mention in say Sydney or Melbourne as the pool to compete with would be much larger. It's kind of funny how it works. No one from last year is so called *buzz worthy* and although I was traveling through most of BB12, I still remember who each of the people were. But I simply don't care. I didn't care about seeing Ben and Layla doing the finale, I didn't care about Estelle going to hang out with Tahan tonight other than Tahan was there... I suppose I won't care about these HMs next season? Even *gasp* Tim?!

Girl, you need to jump on the they're doing fine brigrade. He adores her. She adores him. As a bystander I feel uncomfortable saying it but I think it might be loveeeeeeeeee. Remember: 5 weeks out of the house, maybe 2 weeks without BB stuff. And yet Drew still "proposed"to her with a rock the second he got out, tried to steal her rock (although my gorgeous boy had hid it in his bag) and then posted it with the love heart in between. Oh and then he framed it. And we all know how Tully feels about Drew. If she posted gushy stuff about Drew 24/7 people would slay her for it because of Tahlia. The people in here are awesome detectives and not once have they sussed out that something's wrong in Drully Land. You just continue being hot and meeting housemates and stop worrying about Drully...that's your mission!! xo

Unpopular opinion here but Drew just doesn't do it for me. Physically he's very much my type and is absolutely gorgeous on the eye, but I've always found it difficult to separate looks from personality (probably the same reason I went off Tahan). His wit and sense of humour are very attractive qualities, however in the house he was incredibly nasty behind people's backs and would never stand up for himself or anyone he agreed with when they needed it (I.e. Telling Tahan he had her back during pancake gate but then running away when she needed him to stand up for her). I don't know, as attractive as a guy could be to me physically, if he doesn't have a backbone I find it very unattractive. It's one of the many reasons why Ed doesn't do it for me either.

I will admit though that I was pretty much in love with Drew in the beginning (before I started to see that side of him), and for that reason alone his eviction upset me a bit.
