You're basically right but the chaperones are quite lacking. Teens travel there on their own but the police and councils do try to control it and make everything as safe as possible for the kids though. But yeah, one big piss up/sexfest or teens.

It's not chaperoned. It takes place after the end of Year 12 which is the final year for high school students. 18 is the legal drinking age but many school leavers are only 17…needless to say it's often very messy because it is Spring Break, but the participants are younger.

Not chaperoned at all. Basically year 12 kids who fuck off on holiday after they finish their final exams to get on the piss and just generally act like the silly teenagers they are. The Gold Coast, Byron Bay and other various coastal towns in all states are popular places to go. They get so rowdy and stupid that they try to do more events and such now to try and keep the buggers under control somewhat; making them register and stuff to stop them all killing themselves through their own stupidity. They're all on a high because they are done with school, all legal and away from their parents or any responsible adults. I had a blast, it's like one giant teen party in public. Most of them won't be sober for the entire week.

That sounds great if your a kid nightmare if your an adult living near by.
Our lot usually just decend on Greece and Spain shaming the whole nation but we are secretly glad they piss of elsewhere rather than stay here.

Jade said on Tuesday, before she left Ballina, that she would be catching up with the sisters. Ed runs into the sisters this afternoon - and then suddenly appears to join their dinner.

Don't think this is necessarily a case of Jade losing the plot

She is holding out her skirt like a five year old, it doesn't become her at all. Whenever she's near these 3 she loses herself IMO
 
There is a couple of people on twitter trying to wait for Drew and Tully to come out. Tully answered them basically saying they weren't coming out right now but the people waiting seem to be willing to wait around until past midnight for them so maybe we will get a fan pic.

Well, to her credit, no. But after seeing her acting like them I had an awful sinking feeling that the next step would be for her to go shopping with them and we'd have 3 grown women acting like primary school triplets.
