Post BB - Housemate Antics 2013

Semi-irrelevant, but apparently the last Twitterer Drew was getting into it with is 34 and has a daughter. So that's awesome.

This has really surprised me with Twitter and Facebook haters, I thought the majority of them would be 14 or 15 year olds. As they act so immature. Yet they are much older and are often Mums and Nana's its crazy that they are behaving this way and really dont care. They seem to get some kind of kick out of abusing people and getting a reaction.

I agree the Housemates need to just learn to ignore it. I remember Stacey's boyfriend last year got into fights with them all the time and it wasnt a good thing.

He is trying to stop her from falling down and someone is trying to shove their straw somewhere it doesn't belong.

But while we are making up couples I have to say I'm a fan of Drisa/Lew. She was always getting Drew and Tully out of bed - talk about jealous hey?

What a freaking hobby, right? "In my free time, I enjoy cooking, taking long walks on the beach, and verbally abusing minor celebrities on the internet."

Does anyone else find it a bit scary that BB has just let them (mainly the final 5) go on their merry way so soon? I just wonder if any of them have even been through a 'how to survive post BB' debrief....such as dealing with haters on social media, or publicising your whereabouts every minute of the day.

From some of those hate-tweets to Drew, if I was Tully, I wouldn't be telling ANYONE my whereabouts. There are some serious looney toons out there! I'd be getting a bodyguard!!

When you have a Twitter account, do you have to accept everyone who chooses to follow you or can they set their profile to ditch the crazies?

They can block the haters so they can longer read their tweets or message them but it could take quite a long time to do!

Yep, I was thinking the same thing yesterday. I would feel so lost, so despondent. Even thinking about it makes me utterly depresed!

Yeah, I thought they were usually locked in for at least a few more weeks for those stupid nightclub appearances and the like. Or is that the days of old? I mean, I always thought those appearances were lame, but part of it, you know? Just going home so suddenly, and I assume for many that also means back to work, must feel so bizarre.

It's completely changed now with Channel 9. They used to do nightclub appearances, not anymore.

Meh, ch9 can't even afford to give the runner up more than $10,000 - how would they afford to pay the HMs airfares, accommodation and stuff for appearances? Lol

Seems like they are still kind of locked in for appearances etc but it's all over the place and seems like they go to the highest bidder! For example, KingPin would surely be paying a motza to have 5 of them there for a night? Imagine the coin it would bring in for them!

I do agree, they would be feeling quite vulnerable... I would find that unnerving. We forget that most of them were/are just everyday people.

Thought this was interesting - apparently someone started saying on instagram that Drew is rude and has no self-control. The person seems to have deleted their comments and even apologised but not before Tully joined in with this:

"@drewbb13 is loving and appreciating the support from every single person who comes up to say hi and would make time for absolutely everyone. He has a heart of gold and is the furthest thing from rude. Don't believe the rumours. Drew is a great guy."

After she posted that the person was practically tripping over themselves doing a complete 180 apologising and saying they felt like such a bitch. After being tagged in a bunch of photos of Drew and Tully that the person started posting in this apology, Tully commented:

"It's all good- you've just got to remember not to believe everything you read!"

So today was eventful - Drew defends Tully on Twitter, Tully defends Drew on Instagram.

Also camerashy1 you didn't tell me what you think of Drisa!? Tell me what you think of Drisa, brewbie. She's a cougar, meeeow.

They're still doing dreamworld appearances and I know a bowling alley appearance is happening for several of them this Wednesday with one happening in Sydney and the other in Melbourne.

Yeah, it's sick. A lot of them seem to be just accounts made to abuse people or someone old enough to be their parents.

Personally I don't see why you'd bother following someone that for whatever reason you have a detest for. Sadly it seems some just find fun in being hateful.

Sounds like someone was attention seeking and got more attention than they bargained for when Tully jumped to his defence.

Scrolling through Tim's prolific twitterings I found this one:

tim dormer ‏@timdormer 2h
@messy7682 DREWBB13 I left mine in the house!! Drews the only one who kept his and stole tullys!!

He's referring to his eviction rocks. Tim gave Drew's to him to take out of the house, and apparently Drew stole Tully's for her (or himself).
