I've just been through the laborious process of checking each one of the 'notes' (comments) on this apology, and Tahlia hasn't acknowledged it. I'd say if she doesn't, that will be Tully's answer and she will just need to move on from it all and forgive herself. From what I've seen on here, when anyone comments on Tahlia's SM something do with Tully, she deletes their comment. I'd say she's just over the whole thing so this latest public announcement from Tully might not be welcome at all.

I'd be interested about whether or not she was advised to do this by her publicist. I don't believe that anything she says will placate her detractors and this will now give them lots to pick over. personally I would have preferred she didn't use "that word" cos I hate it but other than that she is pouring her heart into her words as best as she can ... she's doing so in the same type of language she and Tahlia would have used when talking to one another - so she's not pulling any punches with the words she uses ... she's probably realised not only from what her friends might tell her but also from the hateful messages that still continue to turn up everywhere that there are people out there that don't believe she's done enough ... there are some for whom nothing will ever be enough ... and this is after all a message directed to Tahlia (even though publicly) so too bad if we are uncomfortable with the language she uses ... its not addressed to us ...

I don't believe anyone beside her true friends could tell or advise Tully to do this nor could anyone else tell her what needed to be said - this needed to come from someone who cared about BOTH of the young women involved - and in recent times she's been back in Sydney and spending time with some of her closest friends - some of whom remain close to Tahlia

Tully would more likely have told any "publicist" who advised her to do something like this to go fk themselves if it wasn't what she believed is the right thing to do

now I see why she's been in a funk the last couple of days ... this must have been weighing very heavily on her mind ... and with Drew heading off back to Melbourne it would leave her to her own thoughts ...

I hope people DO respect her for this - she hasn't gone to Woman's Day ... she hasn't sold a story ... she's not pushing a line ... she's written on her personal blog ... she has publicly acknowledged Tahlia's hurt and pain ... a much smaller audience will ever see this than would see on her twitter or instagram ... but she has still put it out there so everyone can see

Don't worry, I'm on her side too, and i promise you I get it about the language, but fuck it Crimmy, sometimes I wish we could we hang onto some sort of public manners that force us to be gracefully rather than brutally eloquent, which of course Tully was.

I don't think a reply on the blog is what Tully would be hoping for anyway ... I think anything from this point is for them to say to one another privately but in person ... she just needed to put it out there - openly acknowledge the hurt and pain she caused, own it ... and show remorse ...

it's funny how Drew went back to Melb and the next minute it was just Tully and Tim out together

now Tim is in Melbourne with Drew and no Tully and Drew puts up his snapchat again, Tully is not impressed

Tim has been conversing with some of Tahlia friends lately

Tully then posts on her blog and is now lonely and sad

could it be Tim has been planting seeds when he has each one on their own? Tim is still jealous of Drully time i think

is it a coincidence?

oh I knew you understood her and I know you find the language as confronting and jarring as I do ... sometimes I watch the world around me spinning past and wonder where grace, dignity and respect disappeared to ... I miss them ... and it saddens me that there are a lot of people who will never know them

One of the best things about my job is I still get to teach about beautiful words :)
This will sound absurd, but I thought of Drew's parents and hoped they didn't see the apology, not because of the sentiments, but the language.

I feel like I'm missing something here. Which friends of Tahlia's has Tim been chatting to?! The only thing I remember is that girl who took a pic with him on the street. Are you talking about something other than that?
