yes it sure is ... but they're growing up with it - they don't know any different world so social media is the norm for them - rather than some new thing that we've seen come about and explode in the last decade ... they use it to their benefit but it can also be their downfall ... they are a lot more savvy with it ... its their reality ... celebrities are not the only ones to feel the weight of it ...

its just a generational change

think of the generations before ... news exchanged by word of mouth or passed on by letter ... then newspapers ... then radio ... then television ... each successive generation has had a different challenge in the way we communicate ... the older generations always looking at the new a little warily at first but coming round to accept it whilst those that grew up with it just accept it as the norm and move forward ..

its not like anyone can escape social media and the impact it has ... we can stick our head in the sand and say "i dont use it" "i dont have one" "i dont want one" but it doesn't mean in some shape or another it doesn't have an affect on our lives

I swear if you don't remove that soapbox you're going to regret it tonight ... not sure what's gotten into me tonight!!! lol

No no no, you are doing great! I never thought of it that way. I wouldn't know any other way to be or live without the advancement in technology that I have today. But that doesn't mean I will be expecting the consequences of it. Like you said, you can't escape the social media impact.

I think it might be a Melbourne thing (I've heard Drew and Xavier use it too) and some of the others have probably just picked up on it. I think it's another way of saying "support" something/someone.

Absolutely love baby corn, as opposed to babies dressed as corn. It is the only corn I'll eat since my pregnancy with daughter no. 2, during which she leeched from me my great love of corn cobs. Can't abide the taste of regular corn since then.

Or of course it could look completely ignorant when he is still producing his own music, writing, playing multiple instruments etc.

It depends... Lol. If I get to your age and don't even have half the intelligence some of you have, I'd be incredibly disappointed. Age is one factor for knowledge, yours is more than age. But I'm motivated to learn about things, so hopefully that will be a help lol.

i guess when it comes down to it - its a different world and i shouldn't compare one to the other ... however I think a comparison with the likes of Timberlake is a decent one ...

Timberlake is extremely talented and I also think grounded, so he is a good comparison. Btw I should mention I'm a huge and I a mean huge fan of justin timberlake, so anyone compared to him will fail lol

I know. Its worse as it used to be one of my great pleasures. Now just a bite and the taste is repulsive. I will, however keep trying. The curse may lift one day.
