I know we're beating a dead horse here but I'll keep reverting to crux of the matter, how long? :)

How long does Ed have to deprive himself of visiting one of Australia's most famous beaches and passing up an opportunity to further his media career (as it seems that the Daily Mail only take snaps and write stories of Z grade celebs who hang around the Bondi area, beggars can't be chooser etc.. :D) so as not hurt a fully fledged adult that's probably moved on and had several bfs since?

I'm sure Jade's learnt a very valuable lesson out of her bunny boiler experience with Ed and grown and become a better person because of it. :)

Personally I think more than enough time has passed for Jade to get over him and realise that she was never in love with Ed but more infatuated with a silly romanticized idealized notion she had of her 'Prince Charming' that she immaturely bestowed on Ed. What doesn't kill you can only make you stronger.
The horse is pretty much glue at this point, but everybody's looking at it from their own perspective, and since none of us here is presumably Ed or Jade or Ed's new gewlfriend (autocorrect; geek friend), we don't really know the right or wrong answer to how anybody feels or should feel. I dated guys for similarly brief periods of time whom I'd love to bump into and meet who they're with now, and others that would make me want to disappear into a hole in the ground on sight, even years later. Which I don't think is all that unusual? And that's without all the public opinion and media nonsense. So I see both points of view, but I guess I don't think it's a particularly winnable argument.

As a new season of contestants enter a week of lockdown ahead of the Big Brother 2014 première on Monday, former contestant Tully Smyth is lapping up life on the outside.

The star is soaking up the sun on the Cook Islands and teased fans by sharing a bikini-clad holiday snap on Instagram on Monday.

Evidently making the most of the tropical climate, the 26-year-old is seen posing on a sandy beach in nothing but a blue bikini top and mismatched pair of briefs.

Beach babe: Former Big Brother star Tully Smyth shared a swimsuit snap from the Cook Islands on Monday

Showing off her slender physique, she is seen holding onto a rope in the shot, while her long locks are left loose in salt-sprayed waves.

Perhaps indicating just how she maintains her washboard abs, she wrote alongside the image: 'Finished off the day with a stand-up paddle boarding yoga session... Because balancing on a paddle board isn't hard enough. #cookislands.'

Another photo uploaded on Monday sees the ex housemate flaunt her long legs as she poses in a pair of black denim cut-offs.

Strumming a ukulele by the water's edge she writes: 'Got really into island life today...'

Tully is visiting the picturesque islands to film a segment for Pedestrian TV.

Meanwhile back at the newly renovated Big Brother house, the final preparations are being made ahead of Monday night's season premiere.

The contestants entered lock-down at the weekend and are holed up in hotels without access to the internet or their mobile phones as they prepare to enter the Gold Coast set.

On Monday the program's executive producer Alex Mavroidakis revealed a sportsman who has 'flirted with greatness in Aussie rules' will be among the contestants entering the house.

Remaining coy however, he told Daily Mail Australia: 'Being an "Aussie Rules" footballer does not mean you have played in the AFL - in exactly the same way as being a "soccer player" doesn't mean you have played in the World Cup.'

'We also have an ex-professional tennis player – and no, he hasn't won Wimbledon.'

Tully first found fame on Big Brother in 2013, when she broke up with her girlfriend on the show to start dating fellow housemate Anthony 'Drew' Drew.

She has become a regular on the Sydney social scene, frequently stepping out with her Big Brother alumni Tim Dormer and Jade Albany.

Man the Daily Mail will go to any lengths to make a 'story', how is this news? They may as well just pull crap out their arse and report on that. Also pretty sure Tully was firmly ensconced in the Sydney 'social scene' before she graced our screens on BB.

notice in the DM article mention about the aussie rule player....

Weasel words. A BB staple.

So is everyone going to scatter from this thread like a flock of pigeons once the new season starts?

...
It wouldn't be tacky if Ed had posted his pics at Bondi.
...

Come on now, you know why Ed couldn't hang around Bondi too much. It's because Tim lives there. There is no doubt in my mind that Ed knows EXACTLY where @Timdormer lives. So not much has changed since their time in the house, Ed is still obsessing about Tim's goings on. And not paying enough attention to Jade hahaha

When my mum offered to lend me her copies I knew 50 shades wasn't for me.

My sister gave them too me, she said it was hilarious, it wasn't, its was just boring

I have a confession to make. A friends with benefits asked me to "procure" a copy for her. Later she sent me a screen shot of a page which she said reminded her of "us" :vomit:

I'm laughing now, but at the time I agreed with her. I am a bad person. HAHAHAHAHHAHA

...

The best part of that comment is the LOL factor of how disposable their relationship is. I will literally slap myself if they end up married. Keeper my arse.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLL good one sugar sisters. Nice troll of Tim after he said he wasn't a fan of Ben and Jerry's hahaha

How embarrassing for you. But to be fair, given that it read like it was being written by the 40 year old virgin, there is no real surprises your friend could see the similarities in your performance is there?

Apparently those books were originally written and posted by the author as a Twilight fanfiction.

So you're probably onto something there.

And you can tell, was even worse that twilight, and they were bad enough

Worst thing about those Twilight books was that they came out while I was still at school, so if you didn't read them you pretty much couldn't participate in any conversation with anyone during those hours for about 6 months.

Its worse than Ice

its not hate rain - lets be clear up front on that (you can put that umbrella away)

I was never a fan of Ed or Jade or Jaded ... or his cards, his dancing, his shorts, his blog etc etc - lets also be clear about that

My comments are based on what amounts to common decency ... and in essence by chosing to post photos on SM of his happy snaps nemakes him look almost reverse-stalkerish .... stick THIS Jadey-gewl - I got me a new gewlfwend and we're hanging around in your backyard ...

Its almost taunting in a way IMHO ... to me there are so many other wonderful places to take your gf for a weekend away ... why choose the particular beach or neighbouring one knowing its where Jade takes regular walks etc

What did he think would happen IF their paths crossed - surely that would be extremely awkward for all 3 of them! And imagine if the seemingly ever present Bondi UKFail 'journalist' was to catch a lovely happy snap of the 3 of them talking - the headlines etc

It just totally isn't necessary to put himself or the two other people in a position where that COULD happen (unless that IS what he is seeking - the last minute publicity in the leadup to the BB launch ... hmmm nahhhhh couldn't be that right? the timing is just too ... well ... too RIGHT for that! ... I'll readjust my cynical side ... later ;)

Well all I can say is that as a Melbourne girl, Sydney is a quick, cheap 50min flight away that most of us opt for as a weekend away option. Maybe his new gewl has good family and friends up there and wanted to go? I think we are reading too much into it. I don't think Ed would give one second of thought as to where Jade is or what she's doing. He has been pretty consistent with his lack of regard for her from Day 1. Why would that change now?
