Can we all please MOVE ON from Ed and Jade?! They were never in a serious or committed relationship - Jade was obsessed, the end.
The Jadophiles really need to find a new fixation.
*bracingforthehaterain*
its not hate rain - lets be clear up front on that (you can put that umbrella away)

I was never a fan of Ed or Jade or Jaded ... or his cards, his dancing, his shorts, his blog etc etc - lets also be clear about that

My comments are based on what amounts to common decency ... and in essence by chosing to post photos on SM of his happy snaps nemakes him look almost reverse-stalkerish .... stick THIS Jadey-gewl - I got me a new gewlfwend and we're hanging around in your backyard ...

Its almost taunting in a way IMHO ... to me there are so many other wonderful places to take your gf for a weekend away ... why choose the particular beach or neighbouring one knowing its where Jade takes regular walks etc

What did he think would happen IF their paths crossed - surely that would be extremely awkward for all 3 of them! And imagine if the seemingly ever present Bondi UKFail 'journalist' was to catch a lovely happy snap of the 3 of them talking - the headlines etc

It just totally isn't necessary to put himself or the two other people in a position where that COULD happen (unless that IS what he is seeking - the last minute publicity in the leadup to the BB launch ... hmmm nahhhhh couldn't be that right? the timing is just too ... well ... too RIGHT for that! ... I'll readjust my cynical side ... later ;)

Met someone today who used to work at Eve, will be interesting to see if I can garner any juicy gossip over the coming weeks.
I'm wondering if this AFL player HM has anything to do with Eve (popular haunt of AFL footballers) and if he had been hanging out on the new The Guestlist reality show being filmed there... the nightclub owner knows Alex Mavroidakis. Tully and Drew might be making an appearance/s as well.

and on a lighter note I'm all about really really disliking Tully right now because well she's in the Cook Islands - and its looking as beautiful as ever there and I've always said its somewhere I'd love to go ... and well she's there and I'm stuck in a boring bloody office and its been wet and cold here (until today but lets not spoil my message with some truth ffs!!) and well IT'S NOT FAIR!!!!

I think its great to see her getting these opportunities and things are looking up ... I like that Tim seems to have enjoyed spending time with her and appreciates her a little more and I love their good-spirited sparring back and forth

Now if Drew could just cut the Mr Kool Kid act and DO something interesting I'd be in a much better place

I hate to even admit it but I'm even enjoying seeing Ben post pics of the puppy (everyone who lives on their own should have a pet IMHO) and his nephew shot was so cute! but don't you dare go telling anyone I said anything remotely positive because then they'll think I'll be shopping with the screechy sisters next!!!

AINT NEVER GONNA HAPPEN!!!!

the whole STORM coming thing ... is it actually more than a cross promotion for the upcoming movie?
BBCAN2 had the whole Divergent competition and prize ... it won't all just be a Storm in a teacup will it?

I hope not - it just gets wayyyyy too incestuous for words!!
it was just a thought because Drew had a photo taken with a guy(model) when they were working at Eve, who I think auditioned this year?

hmmm what about Mikkayla's radio co-host ... wasn't he ex-AFL??
not sure:) but I would say the guy will be an ex-AFL player. I'd never heard of Ed but guess people who follow the game knew of him?

I mentioned that last week lol the movie is released in Aust this week..maybe the HM's will get to watch the 'Into the storm' movie as reward, in the next couple of weeks?

And here's the thing we sometimes seem to forget about all of these HMs who aren't Tully or Tim: every last one of them--to perhaps varying degrees and with varying levels of conscious intent--is an attention seeker. They went on BIG BROTHER. They wanted to win a large amount of money by letting people all over Australia and the world simply watch them existing. Not everybody is public about their private lives, not even twentysomethings. Ed can date whoever he wants and take her to Coogee or Bondi or outer space but we don't need to know unless he puts it out there. Same with Drew and dating a girl who not only has similarities to Tully but mutual friends with her and for heaven's sake Tahlia. Do what you want, be proud of who you're with, but if you know you have a public profile, you know it's going to get attention and speculation that may not all be positive. And long rambling story short, if one doesn't want attention, even just as a little bonus, one doesn't need to get it. Ergo, they kinda sorta want it.
I like people who use "ergo" in everyday language. I like this post. I like you @littlebear.

Exactly, I would feel the same way if Drew did it to Tully. It's just poor form imho. And like @Sweetgeek said, no one is going to convince me otherwise.

I know we're beating a dead horse here but I'll keep reverting to crux of the matter, how long? :)

How long does Ed have to deprive himself of visiting one of Australia's most famous beaches and passing up an opportunity to further his media career (as it seems that the Daily Mail only take snaps and write stories of Z grade celebs who hang around the Bondi area, beggars can't be chooser etc.. :D) so as not hurt a fully fledged adult that's probably moved on and had several bfs since?

I'm sure Jade's learnt a very valuable lesson out of her bunny boiler experience with Ed and grown and become a better person because of it. :)

Personally I think more than enough time has passed for Jade to get over him and realise that she was never in love with Ed but more infatuated with a silly romanticized idealized notion she had of her 'Prince Charming' that she immaturely bestowed on Ed. What doesn't kill you can only make you stronger.

Tully is so lucky to get to travel so much. Wonder if she's seen the new big brother house promos yet, any bets on how long it takes her to complain about how much nicer it is than their house, even after the fence came down?

PS. Can I just move to the cook islands? I'm ready for a change from New York!!

Ben: More than Big Brother!

4BC Drive: Next week will see the return of the social experiment that we all know as Big Brother.

The 11th instalment in the series, we have seen many faces come through the famous house.

Last year’s success was Ben from Brisbane who was the eighth housemate evicted from Big Brother.

Even although he was not the winner of the program, Ben has been a figurehead around Australia.

Ben Davis thought he was ‘Ben from Brisbane’, but as he finds out, there is another who has found more fame.

“People don’t even know my surname,” said Ben, “they don’t even know who I am; they can’t find me on anything!”

“My father was a sheep-shearer and my mother worked at the tuckshop at our school – she worked for Queensland Transport on the complaints line,” he continued, “So I come from a very real background.”

Reality TV has been around for many years now, and it seems that reasons for appearing on these shows have changed somewhat.

“It started off as a fresh idea,” said Ben, “and reality TV was new and I think people genuinely went on because it was something kind of fun.”

I didn’t really mean to go on [Big Brother] -I didn’t really want to go on it!

Ben talked about coming out the other side of the reality show.

“The journey does begin when you leave,” Ben admitted, “because that’s the bit you don’t know.”

“Because, you don’t know if you’re going to return to your normal life – will I leave and be hated, will I leave and be remembered?”

Ben's down to earth approach shielded him from many of these thoughts, especially with the support of his mother and grandmother.

Ben wasn’t a social media follower before Big Brother, but since the show, his Facebook page has up to 150,000 likes and his Twitter account has 41,000 followers.
