Former Big Brother Australia housemate Tahan Lew proved she's got guts on Monday when she came face to face with an enormous five metre long crocodile.
The 26-year-old returned to her Territorian roots for a few days while filming a shoot for 7Mate at the V8s in Hidden Valley in Darwin, where her V8 supercar driver boyfriend David Reynolds was also racing at the time.
Tahan took advantage of her time in the north, opting for a dip in the Death Cage at CrocoSaurus Cove.

She was joined by another V8 supercar driver, Jack Perkins, with whom she shared a pre-death cage snap in which the duo looked surprisingly calm.
Not letting fear get in the way of fashion, the brunette beauty still managed to look gorgeous in a black full-piece swimsuit with a frilly plunge neckline and an open back.
Tahan also shared a snap of herself in the croc-cage with her Instagram followers, writing in the caption: 'Today was pretty epic!! Swimming with the crocs with @packjerkins for #V8Xtra'.

The 26-year-old returned to her home-state for a few days while filming a shoot for 7Mate at the V8s in Hidden Valley in Darwin
The brunette beauty appeared right in her element as she took some time to relax in the sun at a natural waterfall

She also shared a selfie with a mini crocodile perched on her shoulder while later filming for the V8 event.
But it was not a case of all work and no play for Tahan, who also took some time to kick-back and enjoy the Northern Territory sun with Jack and another friend.
The trio were pictured sipping cocktails in a resort pool and even getting pampered at a day spa where they enjoyed some sensual massages.
Taking some time to catch up with some old friends, Tahan looked right int her element as she posed in a natural rocky-lagoon in amongst waterfalls.

The 21-year-old has been named one of Tourism NT's 'Mates' of the Territory, and will be working as an ambassador to promote the Northern Territory and share her experiences in the state.
The model told the Tourism organisation that she took on the ambassador role in order to 'share the adventurous side of the NT with other Aussies; being a real tomboy at heart,' she said.
'For me, the NT will always be home, with my large family spread out far and wide across the region. I’m eager to see others enjoy the place where myself and my loved ones were lucky enough to grow up.
The model also enjoyed a pampering session at a day spa, complete with relaxing massages

She managed to lose 5 years from the first incorrect age quoted (26)to the second incorrect age (21).
And in the Meatloaf article Tim managed to be in two places at once - Monday and Wednesday.
And they can't seem to make up their minds, in their different articles, whether 23 year old Jade is 22 or 24.
I'm starting to enjoy the DM articles just for the inaccuracies.
and I'd think they won't get sales because how many young (and old) women were swooning over his crinkly-eyed crooked smile and how many of them are going to be going through online stores looking for something for gifts for the men in their lives and won't find anything outstanding in the moody dark looking shots ... the competition for sales is immense both in stores and online ... On a completely unrelated note... I was just scrolling through my FB msgs and had one from someone who claimed to know me from '98 and was looking for a work reference. I started to type a bitchy reply with "don't come at me you scammer...I had an Aussie assistant at that point and from the looks of it you wouldn't even know what a 'roo looked like" until I clicked my little calendar icon and realised that was f'n 16 f'n years f'n ago!!!! I was dead set convinced it was 6 years ago and was sat there thinking this was one of those bots trying to get my private info.
Mind is blown. 1998 to 2014 = 16 years. Some people on here aren't much older than that and here I was ready to e-bash someone who ftr did work as my assistant way back when.

and this project they (Mel and Tim) are working on (because god knows when you sit down and have a coffee together and happen to share the same management you HAVE to be working on a project together... is that before or after the project he's working on with Ben ...

But while Tim Dormer and his former Big Brother housemate Jade Albany, 24, always look as though they would make a nice couple, Tim has revealed to The Daily Mail Australia there's a reason why they remain just good friends.
At Tinie Tempah’s gig at Bondi’s Nova Red Room on Tuesday night, the 30-year-old personality said he would 'love' to be with Jade but explained she only favours sports stars.
Lovestruck: Tim Dormer has revealed he would love to date fellow Big Brother star Jade Albany but unfortunately for him the blond beauty is only interested in footballers
When asked if he would consider dating Jade, Tim said with a look of dismay: ‘I would love to but she's only interested in footballers.'
The big haired star then claimed that the blonde was currently dating a footballer but wouldn’t say who he was.
Tim, who appeared smitten by the pretty blonde, said his friend was currently overseas.
‘She's in Italy at the moment. She ran off to Italy for three weeks!' he explained.

Despite his feelings for Jade, single Tim is happy to remain her friend and recently helped her with some manly jobs around the house.

But Tim Dormer, 30, has finally confirmed the project he and DJ Mel Greig have in the pipelinewill be a different kind of broadcast.
In fact Big Brother winner Tim and Mel, who competed on the first season of The Amazing Race, are developing a TV project.
Something in the pipeline: Big Brother winner Tim Dormer told the Mail Online that his meetings with Mel Greig are due to the duo planning to appear in a new television project together
'We're with the same management and there is talk of us doing a project together but I can't say what. It's not just radio,' The former Big Brother winner told Daily Mail Australia.
But when further probed, Tim confirmed that a television gig is in the duo's future.
He also hinted that he and Mel had another, separate project lined up, but refused to reveal more.
When asked about his potential co-worker, who was involved in the prank call skit that preceded the suicide of nurse Jacintha Saldanha in 2012, Tim said Mel has 'a lot of support'.
'I've been mates with her for a while now and we met up the other day. She's doing much better, she's ready to work again,' he said.
'I think that Sunday night program, that was the first time she'd really done an interview, and to get out what actually went on from her side of the story [was good for her].
'I think there's a lot of support for her to come back to work.'
New gigs: Tim also hinted Mel had another project lined up, but refused to reveal more on Tuesday night
A spokesperson for 106.5 Kiis FM flatly denied a report on Tuesday that Mel, who co-hosted the Hot30 Countdown on 2Day FM before its cancellation in the wake of the prank, will join the rival station.
The rep told Daily Mail Australia that rumours Mel will co-host a show Tim Dormer at ARN are completely untrue.
'I can confirm that there's absolutely no truth in this rumour at all,' the spokesperson said. 'None'.
ARN's National Content Director Duncan Campbell also denied the report.
'Let me reiterate that there is no truth to these rumours. We have not met with Mel Greig or discussed the possibility of Mel and Tim presenting a show on any of our stations.'
The rumours emerged after Mel was seen spending time with Dormer in Sydney on Monday.
Tim confirmed that Mel, who faced a wave of criticism after a prank call skit she was involved in tragically resulted in a suicide in 2012, is now ready to face the limelight again
Mel and former co-host Michael Christian become famous for the Royal prank call scandal in 2012 after the two called London's King Edward VII Hospital where the pregnant Duchess of Cambridge was being treated for severe morning sickness.
The hosts, who were posing as Queen and Prince Philip, were put through to her ward by Bristol mother-of-two nurse Ms Saldanha, who took her own life three days after the call was widely covered by media.
This year Mel won a case against her former employer 2DayFM, saying they failed to provide a safe workplace.
Mel, 29, resigned from her post at Southern Cross Austereo in December last year.
Mel claimed that her radio station failed to protect her against the media villification she would face in the months that followed.

Nathan has been quiet on SM for a couple of weeks..he was always tweeting about political issues, gay rights etc although using the @readysetpop account
I thought he would have replied to Jade's tweet when she said she was staying at his house -no photos but maybe he was away.
