I agree - and yet Tully is now out setting things up and doing things for herself!
It's difficult with Tim because he says these things and does these things that have me shaking my head then he goes in the charity run and raises lots of money for charity and supports other worthy causes that have me thinking differently of him all over again.
I hate that when he does things like complain on twitter or make ignorant comments it makes me question the motives in the good things he does when there are probably no hidden motives.
I know there is no black and white and nobody is perfect, I just want to see behind the mask I sometimes feel he presents to know what he's really thinking.

The thing about Tully is that underneath all the annoying name-dropping and "my faves!!!" she seems to have been networking her ass off, whereas I wonder if Tim feels he already has all the connections he should need. She also seems better of late at managing her expectations career-wise--if it means modeling Tigermist for ugly clothes and $$ and doing web videos (with an amazing trip in the bargain) instead of waiting for a big presenting job to come along, she's doing it. But with Tim, I get the feeling he would see it as compromising who he is to have to play a role of sorts and not get to be his whole self. Who knows, but he should definitely be careful about where his own train is going.

The bold part stood out so much to me. I agree so much with this statement. The moment I read it, I was like, yes- this is why he is unravelling. Before he mocked tully because he was sure things were fine for him and expected that as a winner he would successfully do what she couldn't do. Now, realising that his gloating of her bad behaviour is the very place she was in, has hit him hard I'd say. He is just like her and the fact is, he didn't expect to have to work at it.

I don't care if tigermist is looked badly upon as fashionistas, it takes a lot to put your pride aside and just work because you need the work while working at smaller projects in hopes to fulfil bigger ones. Good for tully. I sincerely mean that too. Because I have always thought of her as someone who would not compromise herself (ironic considering it was Tim that turned out this way) unless it was to her standards.

yep, you are right with that. i only have Drew that i would be interested in knowing what happens with him, and he is the hm that most wants to be forgotten, so it seems by his SM anyway

edit - i will still probably follow Xavier to see what happens with him OS

Actually con, I take that back, I like Xavier very much. I'm curious to know what happens with him. He has been my fave out of the house by far.

I noticed Ben favourited Tim's inital tweet. Very disappointed they seem to have that attitude. So many people would kill for the experience and opportunities they were given. Here's an idea boys: stop crying that things haven't been handed to you and get a fucking job like the rest of us.

In all seriousness though he's never been this bad so I wouldn't feel clueless if I were you. I'd say it's more Tim changing lately or letting more of his true personality out rather than you just missing it. He's always said and done things that didn't sit well with me but he always had positives that balanced it out and his negatives were never as bad as they have become more recently.

In the house Tim was also a pro at using the DR to sell whatever narrative he wanted to justify his behaviour. He can't do that on the outside. He also doesn't have the assistance of the BB editing monkeys that IMO did their best to hide this side of him.

You'd assume it would just die quietly. Can't imagine many people will stay too interested once the new series starts and there's shiny new HMs to discuss.

If we're going with the relationship analogy: I'm expecting a decreased interest and subsequent distancing with the old relationship/thread when the hot new people and the hot new threads start ;)
