New showmance? Big Brother stars Tully and Tim's PDA at Splendour!
New couple?!
TheFIX has eyes everywhere but we’re guessing that Big Brother’s Tully Smyth and Tim Dormer wanted us to see their non-stop PDA’ing at Splendour.
One of our spies said the pair couldn’t keep their hands off each other during the three day festival in Byron Bay last weekend.
But we’re calling it….showmance! It’s no secret the pair has desperately been trying to stay relevant, especially now with the next Big Brother just months from kicking off.
The source said: "They were all over each other, holding hands and pawing at each other. They were definitely trying to tell the world that they’re in a relationship.
"It was definitely not how you would act with a friend. But they were pretty bratty too, whenever anyone asked for their photo, they would just put their hand up and say, 'no photos'."
Erm, totes awks. Even Lily Allen, who closed the festival on Sunday night, stopped for photos with fans and she’s an international pop star #justsaying.

The pair attended the festival as guests of Smirnoff vodka, posting several photos thanking #smirnoffaustralia for having them.
In one telling post, Tully wrote: "So we made it without killing each other- in fact, we may have even fallen a little more in love."
We wonder what Tully’s on-off fling and fellow BB contestant Anthony Drew thinks about this? The pair split just a few weeks after leaving the Nine reality TV show but have remained close.

This reminds me so much of that article on news.com.au a few weeks ago.
I had no idea, but I was quickly schooled in the art of writing a gossip story. Legally, I could call myself an “onlooker” based purely on the fact I was literally looking at the photos. Handy. I was also “an industry insider”. And, yes, even a “source close to”.

Is Nine still paying for Tully's therapy? I know they gave her an extension and this "desperate for fame" dig doesn't seem like the best way to end it.

OH shit! I kind of feel bad for Tim, yeah he has been really annoying of late, but he was the main reason (IMO) that last season was so good. Fuck channel Nine, I'm sure if the show were still on Ten Tim would have a spot on the project being a roving reporter.

He would just find it hilarious. Besides he is too busy flying around and trying to disentangle himself from the mosquito netting he is caught up in, to be bothered about what anyone else is doing anyway LOL.
I'm not convinced that the online trash reporters are directly related to Nine management. His career at nine may well and truly be over. However this is not proof.

Did a lot of former HM's from channel Ten get jobs with the network? I know Fitzy and Blair did, Paul and Tim got some work and Chrissy kicked on, but wasn't it the rare HM that remained involved?

I think you are right about how many former HM got jobs at ten, my point is you can't deny that Tim has a interesting personality that translates well into TV, I'm sure Ten would snap him up in a heartbeat and not drop him for a new bunch.
Is anyone else kind of fearful that if Nine did dump the 2013HMs to get ready for the 2014 bunch that we will be getting a bunch of fame whores?

What a bunch of rubbish. If I were in the mood I'd go hunt down every fan pic I could find from the weekend and blast that "journo's" feed with it or at least go tell her off. Tully even made a point of mentioning how many people came up to them to say hi. Never once has Tim been accused of blowing off a fan before this and while Tully has in the past, that was always when she was with Drew and I suspect in the midst of who know's what sort of drama. And this is from ninemsn?! Such trash.
