Coke zero is not bad, but Pepsi Max just hits the spot. No coffee, I can't stand the taste or smell. Sort of falls into the alcohol category, I don't want to drink it but its fine if others have some.

I don't have CM Punk money over here. It only get broken out for special occasions like when I run into drunken peer pressure.

hahaha

now this is a question i am serious about, do you not take prescription drugs, even if you Dr recommends it? and what about Panadol for a headache, being a non script. is this the extreme of it?

Even a truckload of Baileys won't support me on that fence. Also there is only one side - so it it difficult to rationalise that you are sitting on the fence because you don't know which side you support. :confused:

I tried alcohol when I was younger, mostly to try and fit in but I just don't really get anything out of it. I don't enjoy the taste and I don't enjoy the feeling. Feels unpleasant and wobbly and a little bloated. Its not a moral thing or a health thing. Although I take comfort in knowing family and friends have access to a healthy piece of Liver and a Kidney if they need it.

So if I don't like the taste, there is no reason to have one and if I don't like to get drunk there is no reason to have ten. I get nothing out of cigarettes either but that's also a health thing. Drugs are mostly a health thing and I would never even try them. Too paranoid about addiction. I have respect for people who actually want to do those things and choose not to. They are showing real restraint.

But there's nothing wrong with having a drink. It seems like everyone I know drinks and I have the same respect for them regardless. Its only when it starts to become addiction and effects their health and everyday life that it becomes an issue.

Fair enough. That's basically the same story for me.
Although I do have a social drink, not to get drunk and I am not addicted.
Asthma prevents me from inhaled drugs and never tried anything else.

That would be on the extreme side of straight edge. I stay basic, alcohol, drugs, smoking. Prescriptions fall under drugs but only if you abuse them and take them differently than doctors orders. I have had two knee surgeries and took them as prescribed. Its medicine and I shouldn't need to suffer, is the way I look at it. But I wouldn't take them if I had no pain or reason to do so.

Hard liners can also choose to become vegetarian or vegan, no caffeine, no prescription drugs (regardless of the medical issue) and not engage in promiscuous sex. The sex one is the only hard line one I follow but that's just because I think its weird to have sex with someone I barely know.

Thanks. I am sure everyone else is annoyed about me clogging the thread with non BB stuff.
