That's the gewl who was pushing her boobs up against Nick in a photo back when they were in Sydney (she lives in Coogee). He commented on his farewell Sydney photo that it would be hard to leave and tagged her in the comment. Sheand Nick have kept in touch

Obviously Nick has his playbook out....didn't want to be in the pic or tagged in the pic with her. ;)

As someone who has lived in Miami all my life and been a Heat fan just as long, I come here to get away from NBA talk after a frustrating loss and what do I see...

You got guys in the NBA asking for trades while still under contract, guys with arrest records, guys cheating on their wives with teammates wives (Tony Parker), and yet Lebron, who has been with the same girl since high school and has never gotten into trouble off the court, is the villain because he was a free agent and did what was in his right and signed with a new team? Please..As for his accomplishments in Miami never being seen in the same light, only those who have this over the top the hatred for him will actually think that.
You see this is where you make a big mistkae as I'm not comparing Lebron to your regular bench scrubs, I'm comparing him to the greats of the game which is the company he aspires to be considered among once he retires.

None of the greats, whether it be Jordan, Magic, Bird would ever entertain the thought of joining another superstar (let alone eningeering multiple Superstar defections to Miami) to get a ring. They have too much pride and a sense of honour to degrade themselves in that manner. LeBron obviously has no qualms in shaming himself by taking the easy way out but in doing so he also lost the respect of many NBA fans across the world, myself included.

As for the extra curricular activities outside of the basketball court? I'm a straight guy, I don't a give damn about their personal lives as long as they don't commit serious crimes and as far as I know none of the greats (which we're comparing LeBron to) has committed any serious crimes either so the point (in my eyes) is moot.

If Lebron was fortunate enough to play with players equivalent to the likes of Parrish and McHale like Bird was or Kareem and Worthy like Magic was, or Pippen like MJ was, he likely wouldnt have left his team either. They had 7 years to build a team around him like those greats had and the best they could do was a crippled Shaq and Mo Williams. And on top of that to be coached by Mike Brown, who has now shown in LA and back in Cleveland without Lebron, just how awful of a coach he was.

I brought up the off the court stuff because you said he was a villain. You dont like the guy fine, but on the court he's the best in the world and off it he's done nothing to warrant being called a villain.

This is probably so boring for the majority of people here :D

I've heard all those excuses before. Pippen was pretty average when he was first drafted to the Bulls and Pippen himself admitted that working out alongside Jordan helped him raise his game to a new level that he probably would never have reached without his input.

You can't put all the blame on the poor Cavs for not attracting top talent to their city, it's incredibly unfair and reeks of Lebron nut hugging. Some of the blame has to go to Lebron for failing to have the personality and leadership qualities that other free agents would've been enticed and eager to come over to Cleveland and join him in his quest for a chip. Let's face Lebron does not have the killer insitinct of a true great such as Jordan. His cramping antics in Game 1 is evidence that he is very soft mentally despite his menacing bulging physique.

Villain purely in a sporting context. He is a weak soft prick for not sticking it out like a true champion would and instead chose to join his girlfriends Wade and Bosh in Miami, basically to have an easy path to the NBA finals every year. That my friend is what many NBA fans find utterly despicable and worthy of contempt.

I made the mistake of asking the hubby about Lebron leaving to go to Miami, so I think I endured enough of that ha! He basically said everything you did @rj1 and bringing up Bosh too. He concluded that they had a chance to make history and they had the right team now to do so, the rest is politics to him as far as he is concerned. I think I suffered a great deal listening to his nba talk and also putting up with him watching some highlights this morning and arvo from the previous years. I think he would be more interested in convo, though I think he was impressed that I showed some interest and appeared to have some knowledge, so thanks guys :)

good to see Drew show his support for National Doughnut Day. Krispy Kreme anyone?
