Nine's next big stunt: Surprise Eviction (Mon, Sept 29) & Intruder Special (Wed, Oct 1)

I dont see it being another old housemate.

The frustrating thing about these stunt shows is that they seem so close together because we aren't getting any of the storyline in-between. If we could watch live feeds all week and know what is going on, then the shows just being about the eviction is fine. when thats ALL you are getting its not enough! It feels like Gemma was just evicted and I have hardly seen any other content and suddenly more people are evicted

Where does it say it will be the entire show.
They are advertising it as an "Intruder special" to those looking to buy tickets. I think they would have a hell of a lot of angry audience members if they spent their money on a live show dedicated to introducing a parrot…..

@the Theorist @Kaz @insider06 I really hope it isn't the parrot. I'm mostly sure (but not 100%!) that it won't be. Surely Nine couldn't get away with calling a fake parrot an Intruder (who do Nine think their audience are?)

We've already seen the parrot anyway. It lives in the Parlour! (If that parrot isn't the new Surly then what else is?). So the only intruding factor really is Alex's voice intruding on the parrots mouth?

Exactly. I'm confused as to where the info about Wednesday involving the parrot as started from? Thus my post earlier. I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere, unless I've missed something.

I'm under the impression the parrot will just randomly pop up in a Daily Show like Surly did.

I speculated it might be the parrot because of them calling the dogs housemates and because they said there would be no intruders this year.

Have they ever just added one housemate? I know they didn't last year, but I don't know about the past seasons. It just seems like this isn't another person coming into the house in these circumstances. Just very odd timing.

So they would have a surprise eviction and then a regular eviction, and then add in a new housemate who has the chance to win? Or maybe they will do the thing of adding two people and then have an intruder eviction show next week or the week after?

It probably isn't a past housemate. They would be promoting that.

Probably either @Benjamin2012HM or @Estelle.Landy they are the only other former HM's that are members here.

They don't post as much since @Timdormer went in the house for a fleeting visit.
But they announced Tin ahead of time as a way to end the pairs twist. Maybe they would send in Estelle. Maybe every week will be another former housemate showing up? Maybe they have to fill a spot in the schedule that had been a pairs task.

They added one intruder in 2012(Ava). They than added another one week later(Sam). I think they will do the same this year.

That's interesting. Maybe they are going to try to shake the housemates up. I am surprised that none of them figured out that the show was doing badly when Tim came in and the twist was dropped. They don't seem to have done anything to be less dull.

I didn't know they would consider dropping in one person alone.

The housemates have been interesting.

The shopping budget, the arguments, how they relate to one another, and the nominations. I don't need cheap stunts to be entertained by big brother.
I don't need cheap stunts either. I don't like the cheap stunts,( which I think this season has been full of) but I'm feeling that they don't understand they need to create things-more than petty squabbles over silly things like soda or tights.

Petty arguments have always been a part of big brother.

If that entertains and interests you, this cast is bound to deliver. You have a perfect set up for petty arguments when one person gets control of the house. And people do stuff like hide soda and then get made when they are caught instead of laughing it off as a prank. This season may be perfect for you!

I don't know about perfect, I think interesting would be a better word to describe how I am viewing this season of big brother.
