I personally don't mind which but what about you want

why can't we have both? Not at the same time though... sequentially.

So early on we don't want to lose interesting people - we want to lose boring people: so start the show with vote to SAVE

Then, as you get near the end, we don't want annoying people to win: so end the show with vote to EVICT

I say make the switch when there's around 6-8 housemates left, that way you're at the pointy end, and have had plenty of time to weed out the pot plants and undeserving.

It might also prevent the so-called corporate contestants from going all the way - they might get near the end, but the cost would skyrocket to try to save them once voting shifted to vote to evict.
