Except for the part about calling it a lie, but ok.
Tim posted an image of bank details after his prize money came in and...it's a long story.
I'm just a bit confused as to your position regarding Jake. How do you see that it is not an issue? Are you family/friends/housemate of Jake's?
It is early days in the game, where character storylines and audience perceptions are being established with viewers, and Jake has already had a distinct advantage over the other HMs by having HIS HOUSEMATE enter the house, and who knows what else wasn't shown, but Tim drumming in a storyline between a Lisa/Jake/Skye love triangle (he knows Lisa in real life too, so...yeah, insert an eye roll here) was completely transparent. How BB even allowed this is beyond a joke, contact with and information from a loved one, let alone the previous winner of BB. What a crock of crap. It completely compromises what the show is all about. I wonder how the HMs will view it after they are out (and who knows then how they will feel if he wins the whole thing - jipped, I'm sure, for the ones that have half a brain).
As for crying poor, yeah, we don't know his financial situation, but neither do the other housemates, so all they have are "the words that flow from his mouth". In life, the circumstances we find ourselves in are often the direct result of our choices. For example, Aisha is most likely poor now because she chose to run away after her footballer BF overseas to be a WAG. So her situation is a result of that choice.
Someone said it before, but something about Jake just doesn't seem genuine, and I can't quite put my finger on it. It's like he knows how to manipulate people and they fall for it, time and time again. The way he was smirking when everyone stood behind him during the eviction, and how he said it felt so good that they chose him - um, my personal immediate thoughts would be how BAD I felt for the other person that housemates were choosing me over them, not how awesome the feeling was! I guess that is just an example of his s perspective, and it seems to be all about "me, me, me," which actually doesn't surprise me about many of the spotlight chasers that end up on the show.
