Meglos?

OOOOOOOHHHH NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:

I had no idea & feel like i'm going to choke on sadness. Meg's was my absolute best friend on this site. He always had time for me & had such a caring outlook, intelligent & super funny too!

RIP Brad.

taken far too soon. We will meet again one day x

Makes me even sadder that I haven't been able to find a single death notice or funeral notice for him online. And nothing public on his FB page but that's probably set to friends only.
I understand why that makes you sadder, timmy. It can be frustrating not finding information online. One of his brothers mentioned it was a private gathering for family and relatives only. That might be why there isn't anything public online.

Is there anything else I can do to help you honour Brad's memory? Perhaps we can share some memories of him online, if that feels appropriate?

Thanks to @Sephrenia for letting me know about Meglos. Like her, I have known him online for over 20 years almost since this Forum began. I agree with everything you have all said about him. I don't come here often anymore, but when I do his posts were among the ones I'd look for to see how he was doing.
My sincere condolences to all you regulars and I lift a glass of nectarine wine to Meglos. Rest in peace, Brad.

I am facebook friends with him (I only added him a couple of weeks before he passed, as there wasn't really much need to/I don't use facebook much), and there's nothing there, either, other than a couple of people posting for what would have been his 52nd birthday a couple of weeks ago.

I didn't know that was his favourite song, though we discussed music/charts a lot. He loved 80s music, everything from pop to 'hair' metal (he liked the latter a little bit too much, I think...).
Ha, ha! I love that 😍. I knew he loved 80s music very much but I had no idea he was such a fan of “hair” metal. 🤪

I miss him.

What exactly is hair metal?
Greasy rockers with long crazy hair, like the 70's / 80's?

Lol, yeah, hair metal obsession. And what could be described as adult cotemporary R&B. When Angela Bofill died recently, I thought about him if course, as he used to rave about these singers who occasionally made it to #74 on the Billboard AC chart. Our conversation that day would've started with something along the lines of "Angela Bofill - DED". Hilariously irreverent. And not in a malign way. I think he listened to music his entire waking moment, when not watching reality shows. Or Doctor Who.

I noticed that you are a new member here, welcome. Were you a close friend of Brad’s? It is very nice to read your memories. 🙂
