Masterchef 2023 - Series discussion

Oh dear, at least i stick just to wine. The worst I do is at Christmas when I can knock off terrible amounts of Bailey's after a bottle if wine!
🤪
Was it an occasion, or just Sunday?
No, no occasion. I just love scotch and wine and drink both most days BUT weekends I tend to start earlier so then I waffle on a bit...or a lot!

Yes, we start earlier on the weekend, hence I head into waffle mode too. If it's not here, it's texts while ads are on 🤭

Declan will be crazy if he doesn't play that immunity pin tonight, as the pressure test is a dessert and that's not Declan's strong point.
After watching last night's episode, I have come to the conclusion that Ralph is a serious dark horse this year for the title. And Robbie no doubt will make the top 5, before being taken out in some mega difficult challenge.

I fell asleep again!!!!! I could hear the tv in the background. I was that cosy it didn't think I was asleep, opened an eye, and it was CheapSeats , or whatever is after Masterchef.🙄

Declan is a carpenter, so I guess he knows how to construct intricate things, like last night's pressure test dish. All credit to him, risking that pin was a gutsy move and he pulled it off. He and Robbie clearly are good mates, and that friendship shines through.
Tonight's chinese banquet challenge should be fun!

Oh yes, I remember our first Chinese restaurant when in was a kid. The Yang Tse Kyang, and we'd have B for four! Sweet and sour pork, chicken chow mein and special fried rice . I'd have been about 10!

Now I'd have, veggie spring rolls, vegetarian fried rice and mix vegetable foo yong.
Thought I'd share that before i fall asleep 🤪😂🥂🤭

Agree with the judges...Lemon Chicken HAS to be deep fried! I've tried alternatives and they're just not the same.

Lemon chicken must have been very 80s. My step son was saying when we saw him in New York, remember how you always ordered me lemon chicken? Yes I do, but I did that because we thought that was all he liked at tha age. Didnt realise at 13 14 he had ideas of his own! Shame! He should have said something.
