Masterchef 2018

...Kristen should've told the idiots that she 'heroing' ALL of the elements on the dish tonight and that it was 'deconstructed' the dumb-arsed dimwits!... cheers.
 
...they were so happy that they had found flaws in Kristen's dish and then they had to choose between Kristen and Khan on who is in the elimination with Ben... this is all such a crock of shit... it's so contrived and set up... OF COURSE they chose Kristen and not Khan... of course they did!... they don't even bother to try and hide their bias and shame anymore... this show is so sad and pathetic nowadays... it really is!... I'm losing the will to post on this thread anymore... cheers.
 
...I bought a bag of 'Chuppa Chups' today and have been sucking on them with the stick doing circles coninuously for the last hour or so... I bet this Cola one tastes 100 times better than what Chloe cooked... speaking of which... what about her lowly shit dish?... why wasn't she up there with Khan and Kristen?... oh wait!................ cheers.
 
Glad I'm not the only one who found the show boring tonight. I was expecting a lot more comments but it seems we all dozed off a little. Gary and George were doing the reverse psychology with both Ben and Chloe in danger at one stage, unanimous praise for Jess who they usually find any excuse to belittle, then they lined their sights on Khanh, but at the last minute it became clear that Kristen was the one they really intended to throw under the bus.

The ratings are still really good so it seems the public doesn’t mind. And TBH I am really liking the show this year. Most of the contestants featured have been really good. Gordon and Nigella would be way too expensive to have for the whole season and they have other shows that they film during the year so they wouldn’t be able to stay for the whole season.

Why would they do that when Masterchef is one of the only shows that rates well for them? A show that’s been going on for 10 years is never going to be as good as it was at the start. To me it’s still highly watchable.
 
I hate quickfire eliminations on any show, I prefer one a week.
One of the worst things about The Voice (especially the US version) is that they drag the early stages on for ages, and then when they have eight or so really good ones left, they send 4 home in one night.
I think Masterchef more or less have the pacing right.

Khan is a better cook than Kirsten so I have no problem with that. I think maybe you need a break from this show if it’s getting you this wound up.

That’s exactly what I hate about The Voice. They drag the auditions out and then rush through the live shows. I strongly believe that’s why hardly any contestants have had success after The Voice finishes as the audience doesn’t get enough time to connect with anyone.
 
I'm still enjoying it, my only real complaints are that the judges are biased and sway the results whichever way they want to, and that there is a lot of padding, like the whole Prince Charles shenanigans. If they trimmed it to 3 one hour episodes a week it would be perfect.

I'm also liking the contestants this time, with the obvious exceptions of Ben, Chloe and Big Red. It stung to lose Brendan and Hoda, but it's not like there aren't others there worthy of our support.
