It upsets me that casual viewers think Leon is the og voice. He certainly isn’t. I’m not sure where all this outrage comes from because it certainly has not being on here. I hope 10 don’t get any crazy ideas and think about bringing Leon back. He has had more than enough chances and his style isn’t what bb fans want or need. Wanting to self promote himself as bb is shameful and embarrassing very disgusting from him. Bb is meant to be an unknown person not someone who wants to post and brag about it. I am fortunate enough to have a couple of friends who work for Endoml and all have confirmed this and that the online forums being upset about his return played a massive part

I agree and that’s what I tell them. Make sure u listen to the fans otherwise like 9 and 7s versions it will be doomed and it will be productions fault
So they shouldn't listen to the fans on facebook, instagram, etc? Its only by some posters on here that I've encountered negativity toward Leon.

That’s probably a lot to do with them growing up and remembering the 9 era specifically. OG 10 had great voices too.
Pete isn’t being replaced at this point. And that’s okay too.

That was my main thing too. I know he was the voice of 2008, but he is synonymous with Nine’s era and, as a result, “family-friendly” BB. A lot of the people claiming they want the “OG voice” are people who grew up with that era. Leon was just one of many, not the OG.
A new identity for a fresh era in 2025 was absolutely necessary. Which is why it’s disappointing that they’re turning Pete into “Leon Lite”.
All I will say about that is if I were hiring a voice actor between Leon and the current one, I’d choose Leon. Just way better voice for the role than any other alternative provided.
I totally agree and am glad someone understands the point. The only mistake they are making is because they want Pete to be like Leon, they should have given Pete free range or at least more like Nick. Leon was fine but he had 4 seasons on a 10 era and 9 era. That’s enough it’s time for someone else
Most people involved with production where surprised Pete was given the role, so I’d agree it’s a step down and we should of gotten a upgrade
