I do have a crush. At first it started off as solely supporting him as a Canadian, then @Veronica2005 came forward as his sweepa so I always try to support my loves in those although @Consuela and @CaspersMum went to shit with those with Sandra and Lawson

But I kept saying from day 1 that he entered I expected to not stand him the next day and yet I'm still here. Even Mr B likes him and he's over in Hong Kong tonight but he still managed to watch and Facetime with me throughout and he was like yeah, great bloke, genuine, not carrying baggage like most of the others, speaks his mind and doesn't make anyone cry. Oh shit he said stuff to Skye's face instead of behind her back and she got it. That's right Skye, listen to Leo. I'd gladly have drinks with him

From a guy who HATES this show for how much I spend on voting, that's a pretty big endorsement.

He doesn't know about the dick pics yet but what he doesn't know won't hurt him :)

What Leo said was 100% correct. He even pointed out to her that people are leaving all the time and moves are being made. This ISN'T the Skye show, just like it wasn't the Ben show last year despite him and others in the house thinking it was at the same time last season. Look what happened to him? He's the only one who has brought out the intellectual, calm side of her that's appealing to those of us who aren't 16. He never talks down to her, never makes her feel like shit, she expresses herself well when they're talking because she's comfortable...even when she tried to come at him tonight with shit Priya said he handled it beyond perfectly and it ended up with her kissing his arm repeatedly. She knew she fucked up.

On another note just because someone has contacted me about this... when I said in the DS that I love how Leo doesn't bang on about having two gay mothers, it was not in a homophobic manner. I was coming from a place of that he isn't using that to appeal to "the gays" and more importantly to him it's perfectly normal, as I feel it should be, so there's no need to make a song and dance about it. He wrote a letter to his mums just as anyone else would to their mum and dad or mum or whatever. Just wanted to put that out there for those who might not be that familiar with me yet because I was a bit sad that anyone would think I'd meant that in a negative way.

Hmm.... that's an interesting take on the convo and it goes without saying that you're completely entitled to interpret it however you deem fit.

But even though I don't usually have much time for what Prizus has to say on any given matter, I think she was absolutely spot on about this one. Just because Leo successfully weaseled out of the accusations and turn it around on Skye does not negate a word of it.

I suspect that it's his abs and predisposition to wearing as little clothing as possible that is blinding his fans :p from what appears to be blatantly obvious to non-Leo fans, that no ifs or buts about it he is clearly using Skye to get himself further in the game.

Come on be honest with yourselves now, does anybody seriously believe for 1 second that Leo would ever give Skye the time of day if she wasn't as popular as she was? He can deny watching TV all he wants but I'm certain he's aware that it is in his best interest to latch on to Skye hoping some of her fans vote to keep him in whenever he's up for eviction. The dude is a playa after all, smooth talking sheilas is what he does on daily basis, he's an expert at it.

'Prizus' was dropping truth bombs on a young easily manipulated Baby Skye and deep down you all know it to be true. If you choose to hate on anyone it has to be Prizus because it was she who planted the seeds of doubt into an impressionable easily led Skye.
 
Firstly wasn't it Skye that first latched on to Leo. She gave him a chance when no one else would at the beginning and I think that is why he likes her. Also he is right, just because she is popular doesn't mean her friends will last longer. Jake was Skye's friend and that didn't save him.

Exactly!! SHE was all over him as soon as he came into the house. Not the other way around. In fact many on here were making comments at the time about how blatantly she was going after him. I think Priya and a few in here *ahem @Connoisseur * have conveniently forgotten that point. And you're so right about the Jake thing. If people still want to believe that Leo was watching BB before he went into lockdown, then he would've known Jake's only storyline was his little love triangle with Skye and Lisa. Yet he got the flick the first chance he was up for eviction alone which Leo did see. THAT'S supposed to make someone think yeah, hang out with Skye and you'll go far? lol

And sorry @CaspersMum I would've sworn you had him in the sweeps! That was the only reason I was trying to like him at first when I saw you make that thread. :)
 
I really like the mature way he handles drama and doesn't get pulled into the "pick a side" crap - or worse, tries to create more divides like I feel Priya was last night. I don't think that means he's trying to play both sides, but more he's just too mature to buy into cliques.

He's shown to be friendly with everyone in the house (he was in the room talking with Ryan and Sandra last night I think). I know Priya doesn't trust him because of this and warned Skye about him, however instead of getting bitchy when Skye dobbed on her he handled it very maturely. I like the way he didn't try and create a divide between Skye and Priya (when he had a perfect opportunity to) even though Priya had tried to create a divide between them.
 
Leo's approach to Skye yesterday after Priya mentioned he may be using her was so sophisticated. He handled it so well by avoiding getting into the 'Skye show' fiasco and focused on the real issue (ie. Skye's suspicions of him). I can't see anyone else in the house getting through the mindset that Skye is the most popular on the outside so quickly and getting to the real issue. Very rare and quirky quality of his.
 
You can tell he was raised well, that good ol' Calgary boy. I hate the clothes he wears, though. He'd be so much more attractive with a little less grooming, too.

Even I can see he is using Skye to a certain extent. He was not keen on Skye at all when he first entered because he was really put off the age difference. It seems random how it's changing now.. I don't think the feelings are genuine. He reminds me of Sam hooking up with Layla to get further in BB 2012. :wtf:

Leo is still fit though :hungry: But I can see behind the abs!
 
I have definitely boarded the Leo Train. First intruder I've seen with a real shot at this thing!! Also the Skye conversation put me off her completely but opened the door for Leo imo.

I only kept the quotes I'm replying to but wouldn't you say Skye fans are blinded by her distaste for wearing anything that covers too much flesh? I think if you're gonna insinuate Leo's gameplan involves little clothing, Skye's is pretty similar. She's always wandering around in a bikini, and even on nominations when she knew she'd be front and centre she wore a see through dress.

Also what is it with people thinking Skye is easily manipulated? She's trying to play that game as hard as she can.

I think the fact his opinion is changing is a big reason I see their relationship as genuine. I don't like Skye at all so I couldn't care less if he was using her to get to the end but I really don't see that. At first he seemed put off by her immaturity etc, but as they spent more time together he seems to have come around to her. If he knew she was so popular why wouldn't he have just liked her from the beginning?
 
I think he does like Skye as a person, but that he's smart/strategic and kind of knows it's to his advantage to play that up. When she called him out on it, I think he was taken aback that she thought of that but also had a look of "crap, maybe she noticed a bit" on his face. I don't know, maybe just the Canadian intuition on that one. :P In any case, he's a smart player.
 
Let's push to get Leo into the finals. If he keeps it up he could very well be the first ever intruder to win the whole damn thing!

I'm honestly not really that physically attracted to Skye, that's not to say that I wouldn't go there if she 'forced' herself on me but I see her more as a fun vivacious happy-go-lucky little sister I never had. ;)
