Leo Appreciation thread - Take two!

Leo is still my boy, and I think the Skye thing is still fake as hell. However, all the props in the world to him for letting her know, it's not the Skye show. They baby her in that house, and indulge her, and it's beyond time people let her know the truth. Her head will continue to swell, and I don't expect Leo to just sit back. Glad he let her know.
Yep I'm glad he said it to her too. Even better that he wasn't aggressive or condescending. Didn't even really look angry. I know some of you think he's faking but to me it looked like he was actually shocked and hurt by what she was saying. What I really loved too was the way he handled it when Skye threw Priya under the bus. Instead of bitching about her, he said he understand why she said what she did as she was just protecting her friend and he didn't consider it a personal attack. He even acknowledged that they just haven't connected yet so maybe he should put more time in with her. The others in the house would've turned it into a three day drama.
I don't think he's some big deep thinker, to be honest. He seems to think more than a lot of them in the house but that's not saying much with that lot. Skye is more intelligent then she lets on and finally the house cottoned onto it tonight but she's shown that side quietly with Leo from the second day he was in. Plus again, she's the one who took him under he wing when everyone else bar maybe Jason were leery so you'd think that would be part of their connection too.
YES. I forgot to mention that. I too loved his reaction to the Priya reveal. I said it before, it really is about the delivery with Leo. And, I for one don't think that is an act. Everyone doesn't act out. I appreciate how calm he is. It's a very attractive quality, and I really hope he's in for awhile.
At the end if that discussion with Skye when she said Priya's name, I would expect any person to get defensive and be like what a bitch. He impressed me more than any hm tonight. He looked at the situation and tells Skye that priya was being protective of her. Like who does that? He doesn't have a mean persona at all. He said it so genuinely too... He likes Skye and Skye better see that because he could have been more annoyed with her and thrown it in her face like well if that's what you believe type if thing.

Agreed and the letter thing he started choking up to. I think he is BB's biggest intruder chance winner that I have seen for a long time. He isn't a front runner (yet) but he hasn't been around long and already gums are flapping about him. He has had less than half the time everybody else has had to make an impact. Time will tell
I'm telling you, the clawson thing is ruining so many of these hms chances of getting air time. Leo isn't your confrontational, loud and pretentious type that make the cut to be viewed but he has so much to give in other areas but unless clawson dies already we will continue to see glimpses and nothing more.Agreed and the letter thing he started choking up to. He owns conversations, is insightful, sees the bigger picture, fun, creative, obviously good looking... The list goes on

What Leo said was 100% correct. He even pointed out to her that people are leaving all the time and moves are being made. This ISN'T the Skye show, just like it wasn't the Ben show last year despite him and others in the house thinking it was at the same time last season. Look what happened to him? But because Skye's a smart girl, suddenly she changed her tune as what Leo was saying clicked in. Then she wanted to 'pretend the convo never happened' but he continued it. She lost a good chunk of support tonight with those comments on social media - horrible for me as a David and Priya fan as people are now jumping on the Ryan train - but you better hope as a Skye fan her and Leo stay close. He's the only one who has brought out the intellectual, calm side of her that's appealing to those of us who aren't 16. He never talks down to her, never makes her feel like shit, she expresses herself well when they're talking because she's comfortable...even when she tried to come at him tonight with shit Priya said he handled it beyond perfectly and it ended up with her kissing his arm repeatedly. She knew she fucked up.
On another note just because someone has contacted me about this... when I said in the DS that I love how Leo doesn't bang on about having two gay mothers, it was not in a homophobic manner. I was coming from a place of that he isn't using that to appeal to "the gays" and more importantly to him it's perfectly normal, as I feel it should be, so there's no need to make a song and dance about it. He wrote a letter to his mums just as anyone else would to their mum and dad or mum or whatever. Just wanted to put that out there for those who might not be that familiar with me yet because I was a bit sad that anyone would think I'd meant that in a negative way.

I am loving Leo to bits.
Reminds me of quite a few people I know and he would fit right in to my Sunday arvo balcony drinkies crowd.

I had a bit of a laugh when Skye was doing her mean girl impression of standing in front of him & he asked her to sit down.
From then on I knew Skye wouldn't get the argument from Leo that she wanted.
Then she threw Priya under the bus & Leo didn't show any emotion about it.

I agree completely @Mrs Butterface, I liked that I didn't know that his parents are two mums. I liked that I realised he did not make it known. It normalises it. Like it's not something that needs to be stated because why should it be... Good post on it

YES!!!
Very important from a psych standpoint. Although admittedly I only made it through 3 years of psych in uni before giving up.
He wanted to sit down and have a proper conversation with her and he wasn't going to have her stand over him like she had control.
The Skye show comment did shock her and I hope in a good way. She went into this convo expecting a totally different outcome aka Leo sucking up to her, over animated expressions and words as to why he wasn't using her and she wasn't ready for what he gave back. He gave back the TRUTH.
He likes her. 100%. But he's going to call her on her bullshit in a way that she not only doesn't react defensively to, but that she listens to. She's met her match with him I reckon. And not in a bad way...
Me too! I like 5 hms in total atm, but Leo reminds me of my own friends.
