Layla lacks depth and insight

Layla, in her quest for Sam , turned against her 2 most likely rivals Angie and Estelle. With Angie , she created a typical girl fight that sent Angie over the top. Why was Lalyla so obsessed about the hickey? With Estelle , she loaded her with 6 points after clearly saying last week she needed to get to know Estelle better.

I am a fan of all HM's in varying degrees. This week with the choice of Angies,Ava and Estelle , I choose to save Estelle and Angie. Keeping these two in the house is more likely to entertain me than keeping Ava in the house. Ava going will see change in Josh who reminds me of a Bee that goes from flower to flower and I ponder who will be the next flower?

Absolutely totally agree. I am so far over her now it's ridiculous. All that whining and whimpering about the superpower. Shut up and bloody get on with it! Seriously.
 
Big Brother tells the HMs they have a “very big day ahead” of them and must quickly have breakfast.

Michael is called to the DR where he is given a reward (shampoo) for completing a special task he did late last night which Surly set for him. This has something to do with Layla’s melted Burberry make-up bag, but he is not allowed to say anything.



OH, this does appeal to my sense of humour....... okay, bitchiness. BB can actually get a pat on the back for this one. I remember at the beginning that they said Layla loved her rollers and wore them lots. Oh dear...............buttons being pushed :)

and you just know it is going to drive her nuts, no matter what. Yayyyyyyyy. punishment for having the superpower last night ?

For me I think it is more that Layla seems to need a male handbag. As though she cannot exist or do anything without a male under the thumb. it is easy for females to put it over most males, but very hard to not be caught out by other females.
Layla sucking someone's face in bed is not doing it for me. Any more than josh and ava.
Tactic is the way I see Layla using her need of male attention...as well as being needy.
I don't think she would be a keeper...... as george and sam obviously feel.
 
People underestimate the culture shock she's going through, we may speak the same language but we are very different.
The only connection she has is through New Zealand.
Put me in a house full of loud Poms all talking at once - i would need sub titles and instructions. Then she's doing it on TV!
Still there is some acting involved with all of them. It's why we like the fights - that angry stuff is real at least

Sad but true. Reggie BB, Aleisha BB7 and Terri BB8. Reggie's was a respectable win, though. She was dumb but in a highly entertaining way. Aleisha was utterly forgettable and Terri should've been flushed down subaltern plumbing and out into a tailings dam after that first week.

So Layla is a significant threat to win. Ack!

But the bag was quite sentimental to her and expensive. I really don't think BB should be destroying their property, fair enough curlers or a shoe - something BB knows he can replace easily. It seems very unfair that Layla's make up bag and products were destroyers but is Stacey loses a lipstick it is replaced.
 
Yep, the bag and its contents would have cost a bucket load of dosh. There would have been heaps of products not even available here.



She should be entitled to chemically peel Michaels mane.

Well I don't really believe BB would do such a thing.....thinking it was a replica and Michael hid Layla's bag
 
Layla has depth and insight she is just choosing not to show it.

Her atrocious performance with the nominations power has her now at last spot for me even behind Angie, at least with Angie you know what your getting!
 
I do not dislike her but I am getting annoyed by her playing dumb all the time. She isn't as dumb as she tries to be perceived.It is like I am saying I am dumb before others can say it. Very safe.

I was very happy she finally ended up with George but so disappointed in how she did it. Just say she is fed up with him . She wants him to be crazy about her,not talking about his ex all the time.
Well I hate confrontations so okay I can get that but her playing dumb in the dr yesterday. that is unacceptable.

I know a lot of you love Estelle, but I think if you had to live with her, not so much. :rolleyes: She wants to control, be the boss. (that's why she loved Ava so quickly. Someone to look up to her, a newbie)

Angie is the one that always as jealous of Estelle, from the beginning, and tried to make others dislike Estelle as well. (Which apparently was not hard because how Estelle behaves) :)
Did not get why she was the one with most saved votes last time.

Michael who imo pretended to be on the verge of crying but wasn't, is smart indeed. Very jealous of Sam and likes it to l be as it was cause he is the boss of the house.
Michael was the one who set the whole house up against Ryan.

A lot of the love for Estelle has nothing to do with if we would want to live with her or not.

I completely disagree with your whole, "wants control" thing. If anything she wants to just be herself, float around do her thing. Which is a big part of why they dislike her.

Estelle: as friend, i think i will get along with her well, a tad love hate friendship but mostly love. however if my son birngs her home as girlfriend, i probably will pull my hair out haha

Layla: did you see she got a strike yesterday for telling angie she didnt give her 6 pointer? BB must've been spewing for her to ruin the whole set up.

Destroying housemates property is taking things a bit too far unless of course flopsey burns - that would be entertaining!
 
I like her, and I was glad that she has become closer to Estelle and backed away from Angie a bit, but did you see her and Estelle hugging?

She was saying with Estelle she wishes she could tell who she voted. I think she genuinely sees what she did as no harm. As in the sense of 'I only voted for you Estelle as I know you won't go, so it was a throw in the wind, and youve been voted so many other times i knew this wouldnt faze you.'

Agh.. She's only safe as long as people can keep voting for her. I was really hoping she had a week off and it would have been good for her to know that she was not on equal with Angie but only had 7 points and not 13.
