Last movie you saw

I am Legend was a good movie (after somebody kicked my arse to watch it, I wonder who). Yeah the mannequin head turning was freaky, even if I didn't really notice it the first time. I just want Sam back.

Yeah, so if you're wondering why Hollywood films have degenerated dramatically in the past ten years, and why they're too tight to pay for decent writers, it's because of people like greedygreedygURL eroding their profits.

LOL Degenerated dramatically? Yep I'm sure all the directors and producers will be bankrupt within a few years, having to sell their Maserati's and Lamborghini's, and mortgage their 20 million mansions, hehe. Oh and why the thanks? Are you Steven Spielberg or something? Get a clue sweetheart!
 
Hollywood isn't going bankrupt. The bottom line is not in danger. But something has to give, and that something is quality.

If you're going to be a thief, at least be discrete about it.

Well then don't say that it's people like me who are causing Hollywood films to degenerate dramatically. And I'l say what I want, that was the first time (hey, and probably the last, but not because of you, just cause I have no need to) I've ever mentioned it, and I won't have someone tell me what I can and can't be discreet about. You just worry about your own life mate. Oh, and so you must be one of the onlypeople in the world to have never downloaded anything from a torrent, which could be deemed as 'naughty', so clap clap for u!

Majority of people actually go and see the film or eventually buy it on DVD,no need to panic Bkeela.

Exactly, I very rarely download things like that, my father is in the industry so I know how it can affect it if it's done all the time, but I'm sure the movie industry will be just fine.
 
A good way to solve the current writer's strike? Just import some Australasian talent. Let me write a script or two, I'll be their scab labour.

The current script writers are probably overpaid, and they're formulaic to go with it (that's probably what the studios want mind ya!)

Has there been any conclusive proof that downloading has
eroded Hollywood's profits..... I don't think so.

The studios and movie cartels bleet on and on about this and now
nearly every DVD has that stupid ani piracy trailer at the front whihc
makes me laugh oh so much....

They've never actually published actual stats on downloaders, (that I
know of) yet have they?

Did you see the bit where he was hanging upside down and cut a black rope. But back in the lab when he is with his dog. The rope around his leg was white?

When im bored, i cant help but go back to some of my faves..

Anything with Jay & Silent Bob or Night at the Roxbury.....lol
