Last movie you saw

Oh well don't go just off my review, but I don't recommend it. It's weird, there's not as much as dancing as you'd expect, but there isn't exactly a plot so I'm not sure what the rest of the filler is. It's very cheesy which is somewhat entertaining in itself but not great. The other guy - I think he was in True Blood maybe? - anyway he is MUCH hotter than Tatum so maybe you'd appreciate him more.
I will trust your judgement. You pretty much summed up my suspicions anyway. As for the perving, well, you could be right there. Older, a bit of grey and much better looking.

I saw Magic Mike last night. Not being into perving on hot guys I'm not really the target demographic so possibly my opinion is irrelevant but wow what a dumb movie, so silly. Slightly feel good with some potential lols but overall pretty mindless and pointless.
I saw Channing being interviewed and asked if there was going to be a third? His answer - We've scraped the barrel with this one.

Haha

I was under the impression that Magic Mike was a comedy and you know with a bit of male flesh to lure unashamed hetero female cree...oops I mean fans in. :) Comedies aren't really known for having great plots; it's just gotta be decent enough to hold the viewers attention and allow the writers to insert all the related gags throughout the movie..

Well there are comedies where the funny comes from the gags, and there are comedies where the humor comes from the plot.

Some Like It Hot and It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World. Leaning slightly towards SLIH, that movie is a comedy masterpiece. It literally had me in tears of laughter the whole way through.

My favourite line:

Bob Hope's character: "Well, nobody's perfect". :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:

Is that mad mad mad mad world the one where they had to find the treasure?

Actually it was another character that said to this Bob Hope's character. Bob Hope steals the show in this movie that I forget he didn't have all the best lines. :)

Yeah that makes sense. I wasn't expecting it to be plot heavy but I had hoped that there might be something in it behind the gratuitous nudity since I had no interest in that. I tend to gravitate towards weird movies but I still like mindless comedies at times.

I saw Jurassic World on the weekend, I was pleasantly surprised!

Still their choice of predator was the only let down, it wasn't scary to me! Spinosaurus (who featured in 3) should have returned, imo.

How did you see it? It's no longer playing at of the cinemas where I live and I'm pretty sure the DVD release is not out yet.

I was surprised but it's still showing at the Event Cinemas at Chermside.
When a movie does well at the box office though I know they keep it longer, Titanic was in cinemas for months iirc.

Saw the movie Catfish. Was expecting a delightful documentry about the life of a catfish living in the sea. What I got however was a boring movie about some guy getting involved in relationship stuff. Where were the catfish? I mean they only went to the beach once in the film, so why didn't they try to see if they could film some catgish? I mean that would make perfect sense.

Anyway, I give this one and a half stars. Margaret?

You gotta learn to do more research David-reepbot. Or practice having NoExpectations. Even about catfish in a movie entitled Catfish.

I saw Man From Uncle the other week. Loved it. Nothing too serious so it was bit of fun and I can look at Henry Cavill all day. Lovely to see Hugh Grant going grey and the scenery was superb.
