Columbo
Never again
You gotta learn to do more research David-reepbot. Or practice having NoExpectations. Even about catfish in a movie entitled Catfish.
I hope I have learnt my lesson.

Not that particular news/article, first I've heard of it. But in film related websites I've visited it's not uncommon for many hardcore film buffs to wax lyrical about it like I have so it comes as no surprise to me.@Connoisseur
Have you heard about this:

I still haven't seen it![]()
Ok Ricky Martin. Not that particular news/article, first I've heard of it. But in film related websites I've visited it's not uncommon for many hardcore film buffs to wax lyrical about it like I have so it comes as no surprise to me.
Some film aficionados have compared it to highly regarded artsy silent films in the early 1900s where directors had to rely on visuals tell most of the story.
In that regard MMFR has no peer in recent times. I often caught myself with my mouth wide open appreciating the visceral beauty of the shots as well as the sheer audacity of the dangerous stunt work I was witnessing that it was a miracle no one was killed making this movie.
You've missed out if you didn't catch in theaters. It is both a visual and audio feast for the eyes and ears, it won't be the same experiencing it in the small screen.
Ok Ricky Martin.
I'll have to get as much of the 'visceral' experience as possible on a smaller screen haha.
Isn't it just basically a car chase, the whole thing?
Don't watch the voice so I'm assuming 'visceral' is Ricky's favourite word. lol
Well I found (and many other fans) found it to be an incredibly emotionally charged film. I din't cry the first couple of times I watched it because I was so taken aback by what I had just seen that it didn't really completely sink in. But by about the 4th watch I let a fear tears roll (ok, a stream) in several scenes throughout the movie.
Yeah it is essentially a road movie but a lot happens (character development told mostly through visuals, body language etc..) in between that goes over the head of people who are used to being spoon fed every little plot detail.
You're so cute with your obsession @Connoisseur. You should do a reaction video to you watching it, that alone sounds like gripping viewing.
In the emotional scenes it wouldn't be that much different to how some women respond to the cheesy vomit inducing rom coms scenes. You're so cute with your obsession @Connoisseur. You should do a reaction video to you watching it, that alone sounds like gripping viewing.
Haha yeah it seemed to be Ricky's favourite word this season.
Lol, I've not heard of anyone crying in this movie, but you're not the only person to tell me that I missed out by not watching it on the big screen. And yeah, lots of my mates have highly recommended it, even some who I wouldn't have thought would have liked a movie like this.
Hehe, it is cute. Do it Conny!

I've seen the movie so many times that the action sequences don't have the same awestruck impact that they once did at the beginning, not that I appreciate them any less, they're still breathtaking.
It'd be akin to the facial expressions you see plastered over people in roller coaster rides with a few maniacal grins and muted laughter thrown in.
This movie is bat shit insane (in a good way obviously), I don't know how anyone could respond any other way.
Only hardcore fans cry, that's what separate us from the philistine plebs who merely like this masterpiece.
I think it's worth pointing out that the DVD and Blu Ray of MMFR is released today.![]()
has anyone seen Last Cab to Darwin?
Watched 'Ex Machina' last night, really liked it! The ending is fantastic, really well paced and thought provoking.
That said I can't really ever become engrossed with the whole robots are going to take over the world angle, a robot could never have a brain that works the same way ours does, it just wouldn't happen.
It isn't possible.I think it will happen.
It isn't possible.
Because a robot could never have brain plasticity. Why do you think that?
