I watched Daddy Day Camp today with hubby, kids and parents and we all cracked up laughing...some bits were a bit (sheesh did they have to) but all in all it was an okay movie...I just loveeeeeeeee Cuba Gooding Jnr :D

I'm probably seeing The Women tomorrow night, so if you haven't seen it by then I'll report back to you.
Watched Saw V last week. I enjoyed it...I think. It was a good movie, but not one of my fave of the Saw franchise. My order of faves goes 2, 1, 3...and then I can't decide what's ranked higher in my eyes between 4 & 5. It was a bit different, not a typical Saw movie really. There wasn't a huge lot of gore, and there seemed to be a lack of traps, and even though there definitely were lots, it just didn't seem like it. For any fans going to see it I think you'll enjoy the first trap (pendulum trap) and the 'donating blood' trap. The movie is almost completely comprised of flashbacks, but it's done pretty well, and gives some interesting back story. A few mini twists, but none of those classic "OH MY GOD, I CAN'T BELIEVE IT" type twists we saw in the first few movies. Yet again we don't find out the fate of Doctor Gordon from the first movie, although he is mentioned in passing.

Just watched a download of Excalibur.
A whole lot of fun, but it's so over the top melodramatic.
At the start there's a scene with dozens of knights in full armour standing around saying dramatic things, and you can't help thinking they're all going to chant "Ni! Ni!". It's too close to Month Python to take seriously.

Is that the original movie or the crapified modern movie

The original. 1981 or there abouts. The John Boorman movie.
All shining silver, and glowing green emerald.
With Liam Neelson and Patrick Stewart in bit parts.

There's a crappy new version?

Didn't you know that the original movie is also the best version....

Nicol Williamson as Merlin and he's a great actor.

Yes they made a new version of this caleld "King Arthur" and it had the whole Excalibur story with the sword and Merlin but it was nowhere near as good as the original. And Arthur was not a knight of the Round Table but a Roman soldier? WTF?

That King Arthur was terrible but still holds a place in my heart being that it was the first movie Mr Raven and I went to see together lol.

There has been a heap of 'Arthurian' movies, but my favourite is one called 'Camelot'. It was made in the 60's and is a musical, so it's silly but wonderful lol.

First Knight with Richard Gere was shite also.

Old Excalibur was one of my fave movies, loved Helen Mirren as Morgan le fey. I bought the DVd cheap last year and it looks a bit old tired.
And I remember Camelot the musical with Richard harris as a kid seemed good.

It's about time somebody made a really epic new version full on with all the magic and cool stuff that last Arthur movie sucked. Get Peter Jackson to give it a LOTR production quality and lots of the myth, not the short crappier versions that leave great holes.
I'm real Merlin/Arthur addict, there are some really interesting books on the era and the arthur story possible origins.
BBC has a new series Merlin, currently screening, I have seen 3 episodes it's OK, very young Merlin and Arthur, teens sort of.

Movie I just saw Burn After Reading, very entertaining.

Gotta love that movie, have loved it since I was a kid!

Went and watched Saw 5.

Pretty much like the other ones, I couldn't follow the plot, like the other ones, and this ones less bloody which was a let down. I squelled twice so that was crap.

I just watched Saw 5 and this is like the first time i've actually watched it all LOL I don't really like the blood stuff but it was a good movie.. I only went because of my friend

and yesterday i watched Eagle eye and i enjoyed that movie a lot.

the other day i watched step brothers.
was a pretty good movie.
however i only find will ferrel funny because he's so ugly not to laugh at him

"Dennis, there's some lovely filth down here"
"I drain my nasal passages at you. You tiny little wiper of other peoples bottoms"

Since I saw Excalibur a little while ago, I just had to go watch Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
It's amazing how many of the lines I remembered even though I haven't seen it for over a decade.
Imprinted in my brain.
