Last movie you saw

went to the movies to see Mirrors. pretty good up until the shite as shite can be ending...

I saw Terrence Malick's, The New World. A visually sumptuous film, but the lack of a strong narrative really frustrated me. At times I felt like I was watching a mere preview of what could be an unbelievably good TV series. I think the subject matter is really too meaty for a single film. There is so much to explore - why can't they make a fine TV series of this subject, instead of the endless vomit of crime shows?

Anyway, I didn't really get The Thin Red Line until my third or fourth viewing, so maybe it will be the same for this. There is no doubting the utter beauty Malick has captured.

I watched Ransom last night but not on shyte TV off the DVD instead. One of my favourite movies.

I like Gary Sinise as a bad guy he was great.

Little Fish: another uplifting Aussie film. Not.

Little Fish is what happens when you get a good cast with exceptional performances burdened by a lame story with an awkward plot.

The ending was an utter disappointment. All the best action happened off screen, and you're left to just guess what happened. Guessing what is happening is the theme of the film maybe?

Utter piece of shit, but Cate was beautiful.

Cate Blanchett.....Goddess

You must PM me the ending......I went but nodded off. Seriously I went in feeling fine but got sleepy and woke up to find the credits rolling.

You fall asleep in the cinema? wow what a waste of time & money.. How can you sleep through that pumping sound?

I finally watched Hostel 2 the other night.. I had reservations as the first one was pretty gross and that was men but for some reason I think it's worse seeing a woman being tortured and killed.

Anyway. It was pretty stupid, only one particular gross scene with a girl that had a horse face, I don't understand these movies anyway where they just sit there and cant escape and get killed. I prefer a bit of a running away, screaming you think they are gonna escape and live and BAM! they get it! lol

Well hey someone did PM me the ending to Mirrors and boy, I'm glad i wasn't awake as it sounded pretty crap.

I just watched 30 Days (on dvd), a vampire movie with Josh Hartnett and it was surprisingly really good. :)

Hostel 2 had a much more satisfying last 20 minutes lol. Other than that - there is no point to those movies really, so we shouldn't expect anything.
Last films I saw at the cinema were Saw V, Quantum of Solace and last night High School Musical III. Going to see Australia soon.

I've just seen The Diving Bell and the Butterly, and The Black Balloon on DVD. Both very beautiful films, which I highly recommend.

007. Total piece of crap. Unrealistic, unbelievable and unengaging. Not recommended for anyone under 12 years of age or with an IQ above 12.

Reboot reboot reboot........

One word...........................Reboot...

Well this isn't really James Bond. it's someone trying to be James Bond and just going for revenge. Yes Bond is an assassin. As told in most of the books, but the last two films have lacked all the charms of what a Bond film is. This is just a stupid reboot called "007 James Bond"

Bond I M V H O isn't Bond if you don't have Moneypenny, Q, gadgets and girls...... In that order. I didn't mind the non stop action myself but only could think of a 6/10 for this turd.

Sex Drive a few weeks ago. It was hilaaarious. Big Stan last week. Also really funny, but loud lame teenagers yelling stuff out in the cinema ruined the experience a little. There's quite a few I wanna see lately but I haven't got around to it yet.

I saw Twilight last night and it was terrible. Everyone in the cinema laughed during the parts that were supposed to be 'intense' and 'serious' just because the acting was so bad. Bella really pisses me off too, she just does. It's hard to explain why.

All in all, if you're planning on watching this movie, go in with very low expectations. It does have some amazing special effects though so if your into that then I guess it's a good movie.

This is the first bad report I've heard for it yet.

Well ths IS a movie aimed right at teens so yeah I wouldn't expect much either. Look how crap the new version of "The Day The Earth Stood Still" turned out. Keanu Reeves playing Klaatu and almost comatose...

And what the frack they couldn't stick to the original story. Instead it's quite craptacular...
