Last movie you saw

I finally got around to watching Dejavu the other night, I loved it!

I love anything by Tony Scott, have you seen Domino? That is such a kick ass movie!

That's two 'blonde moments' (and I can say that because under all this lovely red is insipid blonde!) because I typed 'decription' instead of 'description'. Perhaps it's time to go to bed lol

It's late here too... Just after 1am but too warm to sleep and if I lie
down I'll find myself just looking round the room so I figure I'll play on
the computer.. I'll prolly get off the forum.. It's too addictive.....

I might go play a game or such. Or watch DVDs.

An afterthought

Do you ever feel really, really tired but the moment you hit the bed
suddenly you don't feel tired and find yourself unable to sleep and
end up looking around the room for what feels like ages.

Yep, frequently. I'm usually in one of two states, can't sleep at all (even though I'm really tired) or sleeping 16 hours a day.

Perhaps a boring movie might help, CLE? Go back through this thread and pick a shite one.

I've never seen Domino, pawlini, and you're the first person I know of that has liked it. This is the one with Kiera Knightly? (or however you spell it)

Yeah I liked it, And I also like Dejavu, they are both movies that you don't take seriously and with Dejavu it could never happen in real life (well I hope not) but just for the entertainment factor it's good.

But like I said I like any Tony Scott movie, Man On Fire being another brilliant movie!

"Deja Vu" - I liked the cool 60s song in the opening, but after that it all appeared a bit far fetched.

You know, when the woman was walking around her house, and she could sense someone was "watching her" from the future - just didn't ring true.

That one with Ashton Kutcher was much better, but I forget the name of it. The idea was similar - jumping back to the past in order to alter the events in the future. Time travel etc

'The Butterfly Effect'? Awesome movie, but they brought out a sequel which was so meh that I changed over after 30 minutes of it being on Austar.

I loved Domino, very Quentin Tarantino-esque, and you can't go wrong with Keira Knightley! Sad story though, based on a true story, and I had heard of that before the movie was brought out.

Oh no need for that I LOVE B movies and sometimes even Z grade movies..

I have started collecting all the 50s scifi movies and stuff like "Creature
from the black lagoon" and all. But I don't consider that a B movie as
it's quite good. The sequels however are a bit everywhere.

I didn't see all of it but a mate was watching a movie called 'Nowhere' that was made about 10 years ago and has several stars in it.

I will say though it was a pretty random and disturbing movie!!

Yeah, it was "The Butterfly Effect".

Sometimes the best movies you see are those you don't expect much from, or know nothing about in advance.

I thought that with the film "Consenting Adults" - a Kevin Spacey film in the 90s.

Watched only part of the sequel on DVD and never finished. You're right. You can tell it's going to be a poor affair if the cast in a sequel are complete unknowns.

The new Star Trek by JJ Abrams ...

As a fan I am going to see it. I'll keep an open mind but based on his
past films I don't hold much hope it will be good.

I saw the new Star Trek preview today. Well, kind of. It just showed the Enterprise under construction in a space bay.

After the excellent Cloverfield, I'm hopeful it should be good. Goodness knows it can't be any worse than the abysmal Star Trek: Nemesis. The worst ever episode of Voyager surpassed that film by a country mile.

Yeah, not much of a preview was it? They play it before Cloverfield.

However, at least it looks like it will be a big deal, as opposed to the most recent Star Trek films that were really only an extension of the TV series.

Arrogant Nazi Space people.
"Do things our way or we'll blow you up."
Yeah, good on ya Klaatu. That shows us just how advanced and civilized you are.
It's the old "God Is Love, but if you don't do what He says you're gonna Burn" logic.

Last night I took a recommendation from http://www.aintitcool.com/node/35479 , and went and BT'd it.
A strange little movie. Weird sexual shenanigans in a Korean high school.
A Cyclops nerd, a Sailor Moon crossdresser, a transsexual hot chicks, pink blond dancing girls, a History teacher that needs to be punished. All in a very hypercolour cartoonish style.

Good wholesome family fun.

Ahh heck, there's no subtitles in this, but just go with the flow.
The start involves a chain reaction of students announcing that they have a case of VD... but once that's done it gets fun.
