Jade started following Erin last Thursday night, and Erin followed her back the next day. Erin works on the Footy show on Thursday nights and Jade works behind the scenes - so I tend to think that is when they met

I didn't realise Erin followed her back on the same day. What I thought was odd is that Jade has worked behind the scenes for a few weeks now and has only recently met her.

Erin already followed Ed and had commented on a number of his photos recently. Random connection, I know...

Just days after tipping will.i.am would be the breakout star of season three of The Voice, it seems there’s a conga line of his new fans already to join Team Will this year.

Between his cheeky personality, backpack of tricks and insightful take on performances, the Black Eyed Peas frontman has won a new legion of supporters and given the Channel 9 series just the swag it needed.

While the seductive powers of Ricky Martin were legend last year, “the producer” will.i.am has got the jump on the Latin charmer he contends is his greatest competition.

But ahead of the series launch, it was Martin who revealed he had to step up his game to compete with the singer-songwriter with a rolodex of celebrity friends at his fingertips.

“Will, I just keep looking at him, he doesn’t stop thinking. That’s why he’s a genius, he doesn’t stop. He has the perfection of the language, but I use the passion,” Martin said with a wink.

Returning the friendly fire, Will teased his rival when he lost to the Puerto Rican pin-up: “oh look at me, I’m the sexy Latin one ... I’ve got a set of ab dominoes (sic).”

His Voice UK cohort Kylie Minogue, or Ky as will.i.am calls her, has been singing the US superstar’s praises, telling the audience during episode 2: “he’s got a hat factor and a hit factory ... and he’ll be pleased I said that.”

Joel Madden, who built a beautiful bromance with former coach Seal, has also taken to wearing a will.i.am mask whenever he’s losing a sales pitch to the Peas performer.

Pledging their new allegiance to the Team Will leader has been a mix of TV, music and sporting identities including Mornings host David Campbell, NRL pin-up Matt Cooper and Big Brother beauty Jade Albany."
