Jade 2013 Appreciation thread

Is anyone else just going...please let her do well!

She's only walking into an auditorium, but I just want her to shine.

I'm so silly (and waaaayyyy too invested!)

...So yeah, her simple "thank you", could be read a few ways. Either she was implying "Yes, I thought that was a dick move so thank you for supporting me", or she was simply saying thank you to the "your fans love you" comment.

I guess the sad part is that before he was on, she tweeted about watching the show, obviously as a support to him, and then he does that. No matter how meaningless it may feel to others, it's gotta feel like one more slap in the face from Tim. Jade is way too nice to ever make a big deal out of it, but this isn't the ONLY thing he's said and, at some point, you HAVE to just walk away from a "friend" like that.

Hadn't seen that - she sounds like she was saying thank you to the fans all love you, while staying quiet and not making a direct comment about Tim, which was (as usual) classy of her!

I have no idea what Tim's feelings for Jade really are, or whether he genuinely values her friendship or just accepts her support and takes it for granted, but he does appear to be a fairweather friend who is happy to throw anyone to the wolves t the drop of a hat. For my own peace of mind, I avoid people like that as they just can't be relied on.

I don't think the interviewer should have even asked the question knowing Jade was there
 
I'd actually forgotten that Jade had gone there to support him.

So when Tim says he's not part of their lives he means Ed, not Jade. I guess? Confusing.

That's the part that got me as well. I do understand when people say that's just Tim, however when it's directed at someone who's always been so loving and supportive of him I don't think that's cool. Saying that about Ed is one thing (not saying I agree with him carrying on with it now - but I do know they had their issues and there's no love lost there), but directing it at Jade is another.

It's another reason why I found his "I'm so happy they're [Jade and Ed] out of my life" comment so freaking weird. He's carrying on like there's some massive hostility there, but obviously Jade wasn't aware of it given her happily supporting him and his interview this morning.

Having finally watched the clip, I don't think the goldfish comment was as bad as I had expected when it included tone and context, but I'm sure him saying he was happy Jade was out of his life would have hurt her.
